woo. my favorite hockey player from back in the day is back on the Flames! he got kicked out of the NHL six years ago, and has now been sober for four. woo again. what an amazing player, even at 41. i still love kipper, though. (:
anyway.
so, y'all might have noticed i haven't been around as much as a i usually am. which a lot...so this might be more sane. when i am on, it's at really random times. late-late night or early afternoon, usually. that's because work is kicking my ass. it's super hard to balance a fulltime job with school. and, woo. asia's now the apprentice sous chef. we got spiffy new uniforms, and feel special. i love my job. xD but, i work a whole lot in the next few weeks. with the NHL season starting up, it's going to be hectic. so, i'll of course be around when i can. but it's going to be at super random times. lame. just so everyone can know how asia is spending her time away from v-side. i do stalk the c-box on my phone when at school or on the bus, sometimes on the break. i can't type a message, since it won't go through. lame. SO I'LL BE WATCHING YOU ALL. even with my awesome new red accents on my chef uniform and hat making me almost too epic. <3 |

h'okaydokay.
this first bit isn't much, but eh. the hockey season officially kicks off tomorrow, and i'm going to be working all the games ( obviously ). so, the days i work, i'll be on super-late, like normal xD so, that's nothing new. what IS new, however, is asia's new maybe-job. i know, another one? honestly, i don't want to be a chef in twenty years. i love my job with a passion, but it's becoming a little too much for me. i mean, i work at my regular job almost full-time, i have culinary classes, and i'm also working all of the hockey games/concerts/other stuff at the saddledome - our local venue. and, for the moment, Saddledome!Chef is way preoccupied with football, hockey, junior league hockey, and something about the dishwashers. so, as a result, i'm the sous chef like normal. however, i asked the head of the restaurant at the 'dome and asked if i could get some bartending experience, since i really love doing it. amazingly, she said yes. but, i need to be officially certified - which means getting this weird ProServe certificate, which basically lets me serve alcohol. which is the point of this post.
i work tomorrow night, so i won't be on until way late. and then, come friday, i have an insane schedule. this course goes from like, 9 AM - 10 PM all day friday, saturday, and sunday. insane, right? it sounds like it will be cool though, but i shall be severely v-side lacking this weekend. horrid, i know. i'll probably be on late at night, and maybe in the morning for a bit, but that's it. don't miss me too much<3 |

woo, been awhile.
soo, v-side is busy around this time. sad. ): unfortunately enough, i'm not going to be helping much. why? my time online will be less. one - class. i skip a lot, so i don't really care. and it's coming close to the end, and everything will be sorted out. that isn't what's happening. what IS happening, however, is work. we all know that i work two jobs now - at my regular old restaurant and at the local hockey venue. but, my job at the saddledome - the venue - has been taking control over my regular job. my bosses hate it, but what can you do? anyway. the grey cup - out version of the super bowl - is being held here on sunday. calgary didn't even make it. xD anyway.
the executive chef for both the saddledome and mcmahon stadium - our football place - has hired me to be helping him out the most. i do love it. he's such an awesome dude. thirty, and THAT successful? i want to be him. anyways, no time for ranting. but, that involves working his schedule. and, honestly, i think he sleeps in one of the closets, since he never goes home. so, that's twelve-sixteen hour days, everyday. i cut class, take time off work, for this, so it's a big deal. this will help my career so much. buuut, it's a lot xD so, from tomorrow until sunday, i won't be on a lot. late nights, here and there in the mornings, but that's probably it. yaay. ):

'tis hockey fever for asia!
a'ight, so. next few days? i'll be super busy. i work everyday all weekend, plus this was the weekend my coach decided to sit down and have a talk with my hockey team. basically, we're the most rebellious, hated team in the league xD a lot of the players who have been kicked off teams - or the like - are on my team. we're allowed because we're damn epic. but, since a lot of new guys joined this year, it's getitng a little out of hand. the coach was talking to me, and a few of the actually sane players, and decided that they listen to players more than coaches. what he's going to do is make one of us captain - oh, let it be me xD - and everyone else is going to be alt. captains. basically, to hone the rebellious vibe we've got going on. i won't lie - we're wild. we like to party. the one dude everyone listens to it epic about it: he's evilevil. he basically takes control of someone if they aren't being civil. no one likes one-on-one practices with him. then, when we win or something, he'll get on a table at some bar and break a bottle of champagne. fun story no one should know.
ANYWAY.
this is the weekend we're trying it out. i do like being part of this kind of a team. xD our theme song is 'animals' - which is epic. i love that song. so anyway, i won't be on a lot. or i shouldn't be. it'll be busy, depending on what needs to be done. i'm good at making people mad. because i'm the goalie, and i'm a girl. you listen to both.
i guess soccer with sidney crosby brings about good things (;
so yes. any questions? xD |

i had better do this before i forget.
lame as life can be, i won't be around a lot this weekend. there's a tim mcgraw concert on saturday, which i'm working. but i was also penned to work the annual outdoor show. it's boring, since i stamp people's hands. but it's all day, both saturday and sunday. i'll be around random times. xD same with the next few days, too. i won't be online as much. basically, we were playing anaheim. my buddy used to be our back-up goalie, but he was traded to the ducks. they were in town last night, so we went out and got hammered. he's got a few days off, so we're hanging a lot.
boring, but life happens. ick.</3
