Failed Metaphors
If... You've never been a daisy and never been spring If you've never had that voice to make blue birds sing, You've never even had the chance to lose your diamond ring.
If.. Plain if a wish, and average is a dream, You aren't smart and don't have a special gleam, Dull, strange and always picked last for the team.
Then What Hope do you Have? You are constantly tired and constantly fat Mind suffering, body in constant combat, Numb, Dumb, and blind, being the unseen doormat.
What hope can you see? You aren't great or irate, Easily forgotten, left out of fate. You are nothing but pathetic, caring too late.
Nothing to Hate Nothing to Love Nothing in death Yet hell in life. This is my strife.
I am the Late Bloomer who never flowers.
