Hey folks heres the story bout minnie the moocher
She was a lowdown hoocie coocher
She was the roughest toughest frail
But minnie had a heart as big as a whale
Mr. Velvets was making use of the accomidations in Valkyrie. The pool was now officialy his favorite place to relax. When he was fully dressed he gave off the impression that he was tall, lankey, and other wise rather boney, this earned him the nick name 'Bones and Bullets Velvets'. However underneath his suit he was actualy very well built. People normaly found that out in one of three instances: sex, Fighting, or swimming.
Other wise: Suit.
She messed around with a bloke named smokie
She loved him though he was cokey
He took her down to chinatown
And showed her how to kick the gong around
Mr. Velvets's pool was not actualy his pool. However the two men who stood outside of it said that it was. Or atleast that it was occupied. Evan and Ryan where good men, they wouldn't let him down. They knew that he liked some privacy when he swam, so they stood in their black and white suits, standing guard in case someone decided to try and sneak up on Toney. There was only one entrance into the indoor pool he used, a single red door that led to a large room and pool. Toney had been coming here every saturday since he arrived in America. The Americans had a few things right, one of which was living arangements, all very comfortable.
She had a dream about the king of sweden
He gave her things that she was needin
He gave her a home built of gold and steel
A diamond car with platinum wheels
SInce he had entered American soil, his name had been spread around Valkyrie. He told everyone that he was a car salesmen, and that he dealed in valuable cars around the world, and that he'd had an entire lost shipment of cars somewhere around california, he was coming personaly to overlook the investigation, and he was using Valkyrie as his main base for the time being. Of course anyone who actualy did a little snooping around would come across the death of a young woman a few weeks before he came to town, who had the same last name as him, and if they dug deeper they'd discover they she was his daughter. At that point it would be quite obvious as to what Toney was doing in town. But despite the fact that it was easy to tell who he was, Toney kept up his role as a buisnessmen. The girls and boys in this town seemed to have a serious liking for classy things, and cars where at the top of the list. He had already begun to sell and ship in the town. A jaguar here, a camero there, everyone was realy fixated on the Camero, he blamed those transformers movies, no one realised how amazing old cars where these days. The young people where only interested in the shitty new cars. None of them knew real class until they had to dirty their hands to get it. But it was like Toney always said: "Theres no school like the old school, and I'm the fuckin' head master."
He gave her his townhouse and his racing horses
Each meal she ate was a dozen courses
Had a million dollars worth of nickels and dimes
She sat around and counted them all a million times
Toney did one more lap and then swam to the edge of the pool. He pulled himself out of the water in navy blue shorts. He was dripping water, and he picked up a towl, whiping it across his face and neck, a strand of hair fell and clung to the side of his face. He brushed it behind his ear and then contiuned to push all of his hair back to keep it out of his face. He then began to towel off, hearing nothing but the distant splashing and mutter of distant voices, all teenagers, talking about one thing or another. He was by far the oldest person actualy using the facility, although it wasn't being used much anyways, it was a bit of a slow afternoon. There couldn't be more than about 10 people in the entire facility, and Toney didn't trust a single one of them. He learned very early in his trip that the Americans around here where very hard to trust. This town's population seemed to have a thing for stabbing eachother in the back. No one seemed to trust anyone, and everyone had a very large mask across their face when it came to their friends. This bothered Toney very greatly. He didn't like it when teenagers where wrapped up in there little dramatic lives. Your ex had sex with your aunt and your best friend at the same time? Bollocks, I dont care, get your friends and go beat you up your ex, then be done with it. None of this talking behind eachothers backs, yelling, crying, screaming, crap that everyone was so into. That was what cowards did whenever they where afraid of the other person. A good kick in the ass would make everyone forget the problems.
However.
Mindless teenage bullshit was good for buisness. Everyone was always trying to one up eachother, everyone liked to have the best car in town, and they payed handsomely for it. Daddy's girl's stomped their feet and held their breath, rich boys pulled the money right out of their mother's purses, and the ones that took out loans, oh, well they where already in his pocket. That was the thing about mr. Velvets, if you couldn't pay up front, you where in his debt, and that meant in his pocket. And if you could pay upfront, that meant that he'd just have to try a different approach to get you into his pocket. It was all a lot of fun.
He stood up and pulled on a white robe, then walked out of the indoor pool and sat at a table outside, quickly sliding on a pair of his sunglasses, he began to read the news paper.
