Well, apart from the usual nuts hanging about I have felt a strange craving for a steak.

I'm not a big fan unless it's shake'n'bake. What can I say? I'm a simple guy.
Ha don't I know it. In New York the crazy-ness is all in good fun but in LA it really gets into their head.

oh jeez, i'm so lame, i've actually never had shake'n'bake stuff either. my aunt insists on feeding all of us home-styled. must be an italian thing. i'm a little jealous, i've always wanted to got to new york. the art there is amazing, at least from what i've heard. you've been to la? i lived there up until last year, i came down here for school.

Shake'N'Bake is as homey as you can get, cheap, quick, easy and something kids will eat without much complaining. Very important. I'm from Brooklyn, and yeah the art's great, but you'll want to go to the small local owned gallerys of the West Side. The big fancy East Side Museums are great but no real substance, mostly just snobs who think its not art until it has a price tag. Yeah, I've lived there off and on for the past few years for work. What are you studying?

ha, i'll keep that in mind. that's what one of my cousins said. he's been there a few times for work. i'm actually studying art with a little bit of photography thrown in there too. what about you? here for work or something?

Very cool. New York's home for me. Oh art, duh, should have guessed that. Actually I'm more here for family, I moved my work here to I could see them more.

i think i might just start calling this my home. i'm not a fan of la. valkyrie's more... relaxed. or at least i think it is. yeah. taking some art history classes too. very cool to see the evolution of art from thousands of years ago to today's. but i'm probably boring you. i tend to geek out when it comes to art. oh, that's cool. i was lucky enough to have family here. kind fo the reason i came to vu.

Valkyrie's nice, still a bit foreign to me. And no worries, you get me talking about hockey or films, I'm the same. That's good, family's always something nice to have around, even when they drive you nuts.

Well, hey sometimes moving out is the best. I remember the first time I moved out on my own. Best thing I ever did, best times too. Wait so with an art history degree are you going for a professorship? or like a critics job?

yeah, i'm hoping. i need to start looking for a place. maybe if i pursue it, it'll happen. well, i'm actually just getting an art degree. one of my cousins owns an art gallery and he said i can sell my stuff if i'd like. have to love family with connections.
