CAN'T GO BACK NOW
out of retirement miss diem hayes is coming. thing is, i've been having intense muse for her the past two weeks to the point of unloading it in a notebook hoping it'd pass, but it's still there damnit. and diem is the only sibling of daphne that has managed to not disappear into nothingness -.- so basically, daphne's little sister is coming back to valkyrie.
diem is fifteen [16 in november vside time] and a sophomore. i thought about moving her up a grade but didn't want to because her young age, made her the character i created like... three years ago. anyways, she was always a unique character and i've never had a character like her since. below is kind of a quick overview of why she is back followed by some personality traits.
history:
- in the boston school she was one of the poorer kids there. oh, btw, it's film school because we all know diem is going to win an oscar someday.
- made a lot of friends, interned on movie sets, blah blah blah.
- pretty much documented everything, made video diaries, and posted them on youtube.
- one night she was recording herself outside and she caught this senior boy with one of the older, married, beautiful film teachers. naturally, she caught it on camera. she made a noise, he saw, but she ran away.
- the next day at school he stopped her, she pretended she didn't know anything. he said he wanted the tape, she said she didn't know what he was talking about. but just kept it in her dorm because she didn't know what to do.
- one day she came back to her dorm to see the dean and some of the campus police in her dorm. the tape, which she hid under the mattress of her bed, was gone and in it's place were baggies of cocaine.
- diem tried to explain that she was framed but the school didn't have it and she was expelled.
- extreme and untrue but the kid had to protect his reputation. the next morning she was on her way back to valkyrie, california, with rumors of her being the crackwhore version of her sister.
personality:
- she's pretty much the same exact as the old!diem.
- wise beyond her years, smart, headstrong
- leader, articulate, determined
- high-strung without being high maintenance
- likes things in a certain order, ocd in that way (everything has a place)
- hates when things don't make sense
- extremely bitter on how everything came to an end in boston since basically that kid screwed her over big time with her film career.
- never backs down or gives in, she's ruthless in this way.
- knows when you can't beat them, you join them.
- only hayes that hasn't drank and/or gotten drunk
- daphne is her best friend and they are extremely close though diem acts like the older sister.
