So Syrus is the kind of guy who will be your best friend, right up until he's cutting your head off. Its pretty safe to say that he's just not all there. You would never know....he's charming, intelligent, maybe a little distant some days, but who isn't? Theres nothing about him that screams 'serial killer' unless you piss him off. Then, while hes beating the crap out of you with a tire iron, you'll figure it out. Chances are you've heard of his work on the evening news, all of those bodies that turned up in their houses completely dismembered with evidence that they'd been held hostage for days? Yes,he knows how to do what he does quite well.....six victims in a little over a year, and he's never even been called in for questioning. But he can't help it, he just sees someone and gets an itch that needs to be scratched. He is very meticulous and careful about everything, but especially the things that could send him away for life. He works at a meat packing plant, which is is just a tad too ironic, but its a great place to get out some aggression.
He doesn't really make friends in the traditional sense, he'll hold a conversation with you and be nice to you, but the relationship will be very one-sided. He'd probably do very well with enemies, but then those enemies wouldn't live very long. Lovers.....thats such a misleading word. He has sex, he has lots of sex; the rougher and nastier the better. He is a good listener though, but not because he gives a damn, but because he just has nothing to say. He suffers from seizures and violent outbursts from time to time, and he is also an insomniac. Sy seems to be this quiet and mellow looking guy, and he is, you just don't want to piss him off and trust me, it doesn't take much to accomplish that. He is not a friendly guy, but he has his moments where he can be charming. Still, he always bites the hands that feeds. Syrus is pretty jaded and extremely indifferent. To him, watching a girl get raped is the same as watching someone giving a little girl candy. He cant see the line between what is right and what is wrong, nor does he care. Yeah, he's a sociopath, tyvm. He doesn't go around trying to piss people off and actually he acts like a regular joe half the time because he wants to blend in and be completely forgettable. He walks around with a smile, buys coffee, tips the waitress, pays his taxes. if you have seen dexter, then you might have an idea of what im talking about

This is Maddox, or will be when I finish him, which will be soon (I hope). He is 17 and he is a firecracker. There is no stopping this kid when he sets his mind on something. But just as he is passionate about the things he loves, he is apathetic about everything else. He always gets into trouble for something. Maddox is the type to sit in the back of the classroom without saying a word just drawing on the desk or playing with his lighter. He steals not because he needs to, but because it comes easy. He is currently living with his brother Syrus in an apartment complex in the shacks. He never talks about his family and not a lot of people know he and Sy are related or that he even lives in the Shacks. He is the type that brings a knife to school, not because he is paranoid or because he plans on using it, but because he can. He tosses kids into lockers and pushes them around because they allow him to and he believes that he is doing them a favor and helping them build character. Its all about keeping certain appearances. It sucks, but thats life. In this world you are either a doer or a follower. A shark or bait. And from day one he refused to be bait. So he might have stuck some gum in your hair, pushed you around, call you names, throw a drink on your face, give you a wedgie, all that fun stuff.
He has adhd, and needs to be constantly entertained. If he gets bored, he sets shit on fire and picks fights for no reason. Maddox can be very loyal and understanding. He has a good heart, he just doesnt know how to put it to good use. Its a family thing I guess. He doesnt really think about the consequences of his actions and in all Asher fashion, he is incredibly impulsive and blunt. He ahs a tendency of arguing with teachers and making them look stupid, because he is too smart for his own good. He also loves music and singing, plays the guitar and enjoys the theater. Yes, he loves musicals, but he will never say that shit out loud. It would be like committing social suicide. He likes girls, and he can be very superficial. Maddox can be loud and obnoxious or quiet and mellow. It depends on the situation and his mood, which constantly changes.
