OVERALL PERSONALITY: as you may have guessed, wrynn is a bit of a spoiled brat. she's one of the youngest giovanni cousins, and since both of her parents were old by the time they had her, they doted on her more than necessary. she's an only child so she got everything her parents bought for her and never had to share anything. she's not selfish, even though you'd think she would be, but she expects to always get what she wants in life. very confident, she doesn't take no for an answer and she doesn't take crap off of anyone. she's also probably one of the only giovanni descendents who is wholeheartedly in love with her family's way of life. their 'crime' family interests her and makes her feel in control, so she is devoted to them completely. she wants to carry out jobs when she's old enough, and she thirsts to be in the center of what's going on.
she's devoted to her extended family, but strangely enough, she is not loyal to her parents. she works hard to get approval from her grandfather and uncles, but she doesn't care much for attention from her own parents. unlike most only children who are hungry for the attention of their parents, wrynn hungers for the attention of everyone else. she likes being in the center of attention, and she parties a lot so she's usually in the center of the craziness. she's also impatient and impetuous, so she has the tendency to do crazy things and wild party tricks. she's a favorite with the other partiers because she's willing to do practically anything. she's the first person to accept a dare, and if you dare her, she's definitely going to do it.
wrynn is also an aspiring cokehead, having gotten into cocaine within the last year of her life. she's not much of a drinker although she'll do that just like she'll try anything else, and she's more into the drugs, especially coke. because her family's rich, she has no trouble buying what she needs, and the habit has grown gradually worse. she's headed down a dangerous path. despite all of her darker issues, she's actually very playful and likeable. sure, she's a bitch and she can be hateful very easily, but overall she's likeable because she loves just having fun. she's also addicted to candy along with cocaine, random, huh? she'll go head over heels for an airhead or some jelly bellies.

HISTORY: rossannah giovanni wasn't the type of woman to settle down. when she turned twenty, she got into law and went to harvard university where she finished her law degree. at 25, she was already a partner and had no intention to become a wife or a mother. having come from a large italian family, and being the oldest child at that, everyone believed she would want a large family of her own, but rossannah wanted exactly the opposite. she hated her crime family and wanted nothing to do with them, so she stayed in law enforcement and criminal law to stay away from her family. her father didn't approve, and he paid off a young colleague of hers who was fascinated with the giovanni family to trail her, to watch her and make sure she was okay since the giovannis couldn't be seen around her because of her aversion to them. the young man was named james andretti, and he was also an aspiring lawyer at the time. not as intelligent as rossannah, james had been in law school longer than her and was only a paralegal when they met, so rossannah didn't bother with him at first. however, the two knew each other for quite some time, and they became good friends. after a few years of friendship, james fell in love with rossannah, but she still had no feelings for him. overall, the two ended up knowing each other for ten years before the night they accidentally created wrynn. one night, when the office had celebrated rossannah's ten year anniversary with the firm, rossannah and james both had too much to drink and ended up falling into bed together. neither of them expected anything to happen, besides, they were both in their mid-30's and things like pregnancy don't happen to people that old, right? wrong.
surprisingly, rossannah found out she was pregnant two months later after taking a pregnancy test, and she freaked out. her whole life had been so planned out, and then this unexpected occurance fell into her lap. at first, she wanted an abortion, but at her age, she couldn't have one because it would risk her own life as well. so, stuck with a child she never planned for or wanted, rossannah refused to tell james who was more embarrassed about the night of the party than she was. of course, after several months, the truth was unavoidable, and her colleagues began to talk. james, still in love with her, worked up the nerve and asked her about the pregnancy. rossannah admitted that the child was his, but she didn't want anything to do with him. knowing that she didn't love him, james vowed to help her if she wished, and she honestly appreciated him but had no desire to marry him.
the baby was born one month early, not terribly premature but still risky because of her mother's age. despite her early arrival, wrynn was a beautiful little baby, all fuzzy blond hair and blue eyes. rossannah never considered herself mother material, so she named the child and then asked her parents to take care of the child. after so many years of avoiding her family, she was forced to depend on them in the hard times. wrynn went to live with her grandparents when she was only two years old, and she hardly ever saw her mother. rossannah moved to new york to work with a large law firm there, and wrynn was settled in los angeles with her grandparents. as wrynn grew up, she grew very close to her grandmother and grandfather and learned everything she could about the 'family business'. she had the opportunity to soak up what they were all about like a sponge because she was in the center of a lot of what went on at the family mansion in la. however, that world came crashing down when wrynn was nine years old.
that was the year her grandfather died. wrynn went dark side after his death, and having no real parents around really affected her for the first time. although her father always wanted to be there for her, he was already living in washington state, and she didn't bother to contact him. for a year after grandpa's death, wrynn couldn't get past it and she spent much of her time avoiding the playground, the other kids, and any bright colors or sunlight. she wore lots of black and stayed in her room most of the time. that all changed when when finally turned ten and her mother arrived back in los angeles, a little late to mourn her father's death. when wrynn saw the lack of love her mother had for her own father, wrynn realized that she wasn't honoring his death by hiding in the darkness. she had to honor him by being the best giovanni she could be - much better than her pitiful excuse for a mother had ever been. when her uncle fausto became the leader in the wake of his father's death, wrynn followed in his footsteps - so to speak - the best she could. she tried to help out the family, although she was left out of a lot of things because she was still just a child. realizing she wasn't going to be able to become the criminal mind and a major roleplayer in the family scene, she decided to redo herself in other ways while she waited for her age to catch up with her ambitions.
over the next several years, wrynn came out of the shell she had contained herself in throughout fourth grade, and by the time she was in middle school, she was a veritable bombshell. she was one of the most popular kids in school with the looks girls hate you for and guys want to fuck you for. she was attractive, and she wasn't stupid, so she became the thorn in the side of the girls who were too scared to become her friend and scared of her position on the social ladder above them. she was showered with gifts and anything she wanted by her grandmother - whom she still lived with - and her father also gave her everything she wanted whenever he got the chance. wrynn was his one connection to rossannah, and he gave her all of the attention her mother would never let him give her. however, wrynn never fully respected her father even though she loved him and felt only hatred for her mother for deserting her. very seldom, she would spend weekends in washington with her father until he was appointed attorney general of the state and his business took up too much of his time.
when wrynn hit high school, she decided she needed another change of pace, so she requested to move to valkyrie to live at the giovanni mansion there. having grown up in the center of the enlarged family, she was well-acquainted with all of her cousins and uncles, and wanted to be in the center of them since the majority of the workings in the family had moved to valkyrie along with them. during her freshman year, she moved to valkyrie and has lived here ever since.
