PERSONAL STYLE: the boy grew up in texas. therefore, he's been wearing jeans and plaid shirts since he was in elementary school. though he still wears a lot of his old clothes (he hates shopping leisurely) he does often wears one-colored t shirts, workout clothes. he's not really into the type of shirts that say 'real men wear pink' and 'got tickets to the gunshow?' no, he isn't like that at all. he's relaxed without looking like an overgrown child. one trademark he has gotten is bandanas. he folds them up and ties them across his head to keep his hair out of his eyes. his hair falls over it but it's out of his face which is what he needed it for.

BEST MEMORY: his best memory was when he was at the bar the same night a pack of marines were as well. It was the start of what wyatt was going to do for the rest of his life which is a big deal. He saw how well they got along, how they all said they were brothers, and the crazy stories they had. Wyatt wanted that.
WORST MEMORY: wyatt’s worst memory was when he came back to valkyrie at eighteen to see his sister was a stripper and a prostitute and brought her twelve year old daughter to the strip club while she worked. He felt bad for his sister because he knew why she never told their parents about this. What was worst was that wyatt kept sandy’s wishes and kept his mouth shut about it. Sometimes he thinks if he intervened brett and sandy could have been living a different life right now.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: wyatt is a very laid back guy. He doesn’t get too heated about certain things. It’s probably because he has doesn’t have a lot of confidence in his opinion. So he’s more of the silent observer. A man of very few words. He tries not to sweat the small stuff. Wyatt is very responsible though. He is in fact, the only shred of an image that could represent a father figure to brett. He was around during the crucial pre-teen to teenage years for her, but he really couldn’t stop brett from becoming, well, brett. But he does care for his sister and niece a lot, as they do for him. They are really close. His close relationship with the kennedy women also brings in the fact that wyatt is the biggest sucker for women with strong personalities. He is easily manipulated and can get pushed around a lot. Tell him to go to the store to get tampons and milk, and it’s pathetic that he wouldn’t even object and he’d go out and go get them.
Wyatt has a good head on his shoulders. He’s very dedicated the marines and would do anything for his country. But he isn’t like, ‘give me a gun!’ if he’s needed, he’ll go. It was definitely an experience over in iraq for him. And this is random, but I thought I’d just add, he’s a democrat. xD yeah, I’m weird, but I just wanted to put that in here somehow… anyways, he also tends to make decisions based on how other people in the situation are involved. so while he might not be the best thing for him, at least someone is going to come out happy.

LIVING SITUATION: shaks. HITTEN IS WHERE IT IS AT!
HISTORY: sam and pat lived in las vegas all their lives. they worked at dead-end jobs. sam worked at blockbuster and patty worked as a cocktail waitress at the mgm hotel. does it matter how they met? well, they were high school sweethearts, of course. sure, times were tough, but that never stopped them from loving each other. sandra was born first, before the family moved. sandy never got to experience vegas life because when she was five, the couple wanted to try more of a small-town setting and moved north to the lovely valkyrie, california. they didn't have family in valkyrie, they just wanted to start fresh, maybe even get farther than they did down in vegas. they still lived in what was called the 'shaks' but had a nice little home on the beach front. they were a family of three so they didn't need a big house, not that they could afford it, but it wasn't a too small of a house that there was no wiggle room.
when sandy was fifteen, her parents got pregnant again, this one on complete accident. but, that didn't stop everyone from loving the little boy they named wyatt james. his early life in valkyrie was short-lived because one his sister graduated from high school, sam and patty moved once again. though they did love their daughter, they didn't want wyatt growing up in a rough crowd like sandy did. besides, mr. and mrs. kennedy didn't like staying in one place for too long, so it was the perfect opportunity for them to move again. so, sandy went to 'college' and the remaning of the kennedys moved to odessa, texas. moving to a new city seemed to prove well for wyatt because he grew up to be the complete opposite of his sister. whenever sam and pat wanted to visit sandy, she'd always make some excuse or drive down (which was quite a drive) herself. when wyatt was five years old, his parents got the news that sandy was pregnant. the father wasn't around, and they shouldn't worry because she was fine. wyatt was too young to understand what was really going on.
wyatt grew up a very athletic guy. he was in a lot of little league sports, and he made frriends with boys he'd be friends with through high school. wyatt is the only kennedy with a slight texan twang having moved to odessa so young, and he has one of the best manners. he did well in high school. he was very active in football. he was good too. he wasn't a quarterback or carried the team per se, but he was pretty good, always on the field playing. in fact, his senior year, his team won state, which was a pretty good accomplishment. wyatt was one of those guys you just liked. he was easy-going, easily persuaded, and very funny. he dated cheerleaders, was on homecoming court, and attended the usual high school parties. he wanted to go to valkyrie university. kind of to be with his sister and niece. and because he had a partial scholarship to play football at vu. wyatt went and his paretns deicded to move again. this time to ohio. when wyatt arrived in valkyrie, he found out his sister was not what she said she was. infact, sandy never went to college and she had been living as a stripper. sandy begged wyatt not to tell anyone and wyatt finally agreed but mentally took note to watch over the then 12 year old brett.
it was right before the second semester of his freshmen year it happened. he was at a bar and he made friends with this certain group of guys. who were they? they were marines in town on leave. wyatt could say his entire life changed that night. after spending thenight having fun with this group of guys, the next day, he dropped out of college and enlisted into the marines. no one really was shocked or disappointed in him. if this was what he wanted to do, this was what he was going to do. so, he entered basic training and really enjoyed all the hard work, determination, and the friends he made while becoming a marine. he didn't go to war right away, he stayed and trained some more. he has been around the world, traveling different places. it was like he belonged to something great.
when he was twenty-one, and was in valkyrie, he met a girl. her name was charlotte hartwell, and they just instantly clicked. she was seventeen. though they had feelings for each other, she wasn't legal. and and wyatt didn't want to pursue that. however, when she turned eighteen they started dating and it was a wonderful year. at times it was a tough long distance since wyatt was still training to become a corporal and she was becoming an actress but they always found each other in valkyrie and it was quite beautiful. that was until wyatt learned he was going to iraq. he was being deployed in two weeks. he thought about his relationship with charlotte a lot and decided, the day before he was to leave, that he was going to break up with her. he did it out of consideration of her. but of course, he was wrong. he left for iraq and was gone for eleven months.
he ended up writing letters to charlotte from his station in iraq. he was corporal kennedy over there which meant he was a team leader of a squad of 4 guys for a fire team, or a team leader for a squad of 7 - 15 guys seeing on what his supervisors saw fit and what the mission entailed. iraq was a big change for him. it was scary and dangerous, and even if he lived on adrenaline, it's hard to wake up every day and wonder if today was the day you were going to die. the war definitely changed him. he was always quiet and thoughtful, but everything was really messing him up. walking past caskets of his fallen comrades was tough, because he was thinking that could be him ready to be shipped back to valkyrie. but he never let these thoughts cloud his judgment out on the field. however, 7 months into his tour, his team was ambushed. it wasn't suppose to happen, but it did. wyatt didn't get hurt, but one of his best friends died on the mission. the team retreated, carrying their dead friend back to the base. wyatt took it the hardest since he was the corporal and he felt like he failed his team even if his other friends he couldn't have forseen an ambush and it wasn't his fault. it was then wyatt wrote his final letter to charlotte. he said he wanted to marry her when he came home. unknowingly, that letter got lost in the mail and he got another letter in return, accidentally sent by brett from charlotte. the letter said that charlotte was engaged to someone else. heartbroken, wyatt stopped the letters altogether. the rest of his tour he went through the motions. he jsut came back from duty and he doesn't quite know what's going on. he scared to see charlotte though she'll be the first person he goes to see, he's jumpy from the constant sounds of bullets flying and loud noises. he wants to go back to normal, but you know what they say, the war changes people. and it did for wyatt.
