for some super veterans, this event is a repeat of one we had three years ago! homecoming. this is part a of event sixteen [sharing with a college event.] since school's been back in session, naturally homecoming has been approaching. our homecoming event is going to be the dance. later this week, we'll have polls for homecoming king and queen [staff if choosing court] since adding a college we now had a shortage of boys in high school, so staff's going to work that out somehow, so yeah xD other than that, this is a fun event where it's just a school dance and everyone gets together for a great time... and drama... lots of it. time to break the scandal out for sure.
the dance is starting on december 10th! also, the staff have discussed posting for this event. since we want to get plots completed the staff has decided for posting in events you can condense your writing to quickly get out posts, but they all must reach our minimum of 600 words. this is to keep the event fresh so it doesn't get slow when we're all trying to bust out our usual 1000 + posts.

part b of our two-part event! this one centers on our new college freshmen attending valkyrie university. most of us have new college freshmen that just graduated from our very own academy and it's time for all those seniors that were in high school to transition into a young adult. since both schools have started their 2007-2008 school year the staff decided to have a freshmen mixer for the vu freshmen to meet people and stuff. the mixer is located in the recreation hall of the cab building and it's a great way to meet people. it's school-organized so alcohol would be a no-no. heehee.

EVENT NOTICE! despite some setback with this event and to continue the flow of the timeline in the site, expect both events to start this weekend. so, get all your plots in order and ready for some fine times for valkyrie's first event for the school year!
