He also has the saying "If you cheat, may you cheat death. If you steal, may you steal a woman's heart. If you fight, may you fight for a brother. And if you drink, may you drink with me." tattooed in Gaelic on his ribs and has "May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten." tattooed on the inside of his left arm, also in Gaelic. Granted he is inked up, but not excessively so. Regan also has a birthmark on his right cheek close to the hair line.
PERSONAL STYLE: Regan has a casual sense of style, not really the one to dress up for events. He usually is dressed in in an old rock concert shirt or even a white shirt with a flannel shirt over top paired with jeans and converse sneakers. However, the one key piece of attire he has almost all the time is his leather jacket that he got from his friend in Nevada. He wears it all the time, regardless of the weather sometimes. Other than that, the boy is super casual, hardly ever wears suits and dress shirts and fancy things like those.

HABITS: Bites his lower lip when thinking, doesn't make eye contact when uncomfortable, sings when doing chores, does a happy dance when he's right, spends hours on the water when he's upset, smokes outside only, regardless of the weather
SECRETS: Regan, though enjoyed getting high and the exhilaration of it, is now a little afraid that he might relapse and if he does he knows he won't be able to stop himself. Also, in his time in Nevada, Regan met a girl, Lena Avery, who he became really close to, but she committed suicide, she left him a set of cassette tapes explaining why she did what she did which he listens to often. However, he still feels like he didn't try hard enough to save her, and she was the reason why he finally started to get clean.
BEST MEMORY: Regan has two favourite memories, the first being when he was seven, his father took him to Cork, Ireland to visit his grandfather before he died and other cousins. He remembers the fields and the rocky terrain and how grandfather would always have stories and before Regan left, said "May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten." And his second memory was with Lena, he finally managed to get a day pass and they spent the day in the park, lying under a tree in a park for several hours, just talking.
WORST MEMORY: When he heard Lena died, he stopped talking for a period of time, answered when spoken too, but that was it. When he was released from rehab he started distracting himself with school work but he also manages to keep somewhat of a social life, but usually just hangs out at Bad Seeds.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:If Regan Turner was anything notable with or without the influence of an illegal substance, it was his loyalty. He has always been loyal to the bone to the people he cares about. He is the go-to guy that one goes to when they’re in trouble and they have his entire support. However to attain such loyalty, they must be part of one of two groups, his family or his closest friends. Regan is willing to die for his brothers, and he knows they would do the same which is comforting to him. His allegiance is complete; the guy is willing to die for his family and friends. However, the ironic thing is that regardless of his loyal characteristics, he is fairly reserved and is hard to open him up. He doesn’t trust people easily; actually he is quite cautious of people, despite the fact that he is quite friendly. But those he trusts are those he is closest to. Despite this, the boy’s a Turner, and those Turners are charming, aren’t they?
Regan is quite the charmer, constantly flirting with the girls and joking with the guys. The boy is quite a friendly charm, and has many acquaintances and the Irish accent doesn’t hurt with the ladies either. With his quick wit, he is very much on the ball with quick replies and sharp sarcasm to boot. It is really just a reflex for him to bounce back with sarcastic banter; it puts a smile on his beautiful face. The Irishman loves skin, he is fascinated with it really. But that doesn’t make him a total sex hound, because he just enjoys a woman’s company. He’s genuine and honest, and so those traits transcend through everything he does, so he’s honest with the girls that fall for him. He doesn’t treat women like expendable objects, but rather the time he spends with the current girl is time well spent regardless of how short that time will be. He likes the connection he manages to build with the said woman, even if it is for s short period of time. Regan likes to flirt, so it isn’t just about a quickie in the parking lot, but his flirting doesn’t really have much control, and flirting is harmless. He’s lusty and charming, and always honest, so if there is no potential for ‘us’ he’s going to be straight with the truth; it’s funny how many girls are perfectly fine with just a night or two with Mr. Turner and his Irish charm.
Along with his charm and wit, Regan is also very much reckless. He never looks before he leaps and is almost too impulsive for his own good. The fast the car the better, the higher the cliff the better and the swifter the wave the best, Regan was in love with the adrenaline rush. His recklessness is now his new drug, the adrenaline was completely exhilarating. Along with this trait of recklessness, came his fearlessness. It was since he was a child; he never feared much of anything, and still holds onto that same notion most of the time. Heights never fazed him, neither did creepy crawlies such as worms or beetles and even mice didn’t scare him (even if he thinks they are gross). The boy is nearly invincible when it comes to regular old fears and insecurities.
Lastly, and this may come as a surprise, the boy is very intelligent, even if Regan doesn’t show it very often with his shenanigans. He keeps up with his school work now, and outside of school he is quite worldly and knowledgeable; quite the conversation starter, that Regan. He is also quite independent, doesn’t like to ask for help for most things. He isn’t the one to admit defeat, so at the institution when group and private therapy, it was tough at first; really tough. However, the boy counts this as strength, the ability to avoid weakness and his very surprising high intelligence. His pride is both a blessing and a curse, for his pride and loyalty go hand in hand. But like mentioned earlier, his pride can get in the way of more important things, such as opening up to someone, but instead the louder his roar, the higher the walls he has built.
AND WE'LL BOTH GROW OLD ,
CHARACTER HISTORY ,
well i don't know, i don't know, i don't know, i hope so
HOMETOWN: Dublin, Ireland
PARENTS: Seamus and Rachel Turner
SIBLINGS: Riley Turner and Reed Turner
OTHER: Cousins: Bevin Turner and Finnegan Turner
LIVING SITUATION: Shaks
HISTORY:Rachel and Seamus were high school sweethearts, had that pure kind of love that Hollywood tried time and time again to portray with bad actors and a Nicholas Sparks written screen play. They got married almost instantly after graduation, and had their first child, a bubbly little boy they named Riley Delrick nearly a year later. Three years later, Seamus and Rachel welcomed another boy, Reed and three years after that, they welcomed their third and final child, also a son, Regan Liam Turner on March seventeenth; evidently St. Patrick’s Day. He was the baby of the family, and still is to this day is the baby. He led a spoiled life, typical of the youngest in the family. His infancy and childhood was relatively happy and easy going. School wasn’t bad, he made friends quickly but his teachers weren’t so fond of him, being the young trouble maker. However, when Regan was eight, his parents told him that the entire family was moving to America. He was excited to say the least, he always heard stories of America, of movie stars that liked to live there and he hoped that all those stories, he hoped they were true.
Immediately upon moving to the city of Valkyrie California, he was put into school and it was a little difficult at first. It didn’t help that he had a thick Irish accent, though that accent would come in handy once junior high hit. Eventually, he did make a group of friends, playing a lot of sports did help too. He had a group of solid friends; a group that went in all through junior high school, up until the big leagues, high school came around. However, the group of friends he did hang around with, well, they weren’t the kind good friends Riley managed to have hanging around the house, those kind people who would walk little old grannies across the street and all those things that made him cringe. Ugh, Golden Boy. Don’t get him wrong, he loved his brother, would die for the guy, but sometimes he just loathed being compared to him. All. The. Time. Well, Reed had it worse, but still, the axe would come down on him soon enough. But Reed snapped he just flipped the fuck out. It didn’t help that Seamus wanted more from Reed, wanted him to be the second Riley but Reed, he wasn’t Riley and Regan liked it that way. Riley was the ideal big brother and Reed was the fun one, it was a dynamic Regan enjoyed as the baby. And being the baby, at fourteen losing his brother after that large debacle between his brother and parents, Reed emancipated himself, leaving the last brother.
This didn’t sit right with Regan. What in the hell was he supposed to do now? Riley was gone, Reed was gone… What happened to their damn brotherhood? Regan has always remained loyal to his brothers, he looked up to both of them, and hell, still does to this very day but he was angry. He was resentful, Regan just wanted things back to the way they were, with Reed back home and Riley being that omnipresent being and the all over good person that he was. Was it so bad to wish the family was back in Ireland, even? Everything was good, everything was together, and Regan hardly knew why they moved to America to begin with, it wasn’t like his dreams… He just wanted to go back to that, to Ireland. He began smoking more, drinking more, staying out longer, everything that would keep him away from the house. It was better this way, it wasn’t that he was alone, his mother was still here and Bevin was around too… but that somehow wasn’t good enough. Of course he was confronted by his mum much more than his father, but that also wasn’t enough.
This behaviour of his lasted through to high school, but this time around he began to try drugs. It started with marijuana, but soon after he began doing lines of cocaine just to get the exhilarating high. It wasn’t long until Regan began to experiment with other hard illegal substances such as shooting up heroin and even methamphetamine, but his drug of choice was cocaine; something he really got addicted to. It was a dangerous game to play, trying to maintain a minimal appearance, whilst sober, at home and trying to skim by his appearance at school also, he needed time to get high and get money to do so. Eventually in his sophomore year, things became out of control. It was near the end of the first semester, when he had his Spanish final. Fuck, he didn’t even open that textbook then entire time he was signed up for that class, he was bound to fail unless he did something drastic. Regan didn’t even know why he was even going to school for this damn final anyways. With a little creativity, he managed to become “prepared.” Of course during the exam, he was uneasy, he was shaking. The boy also began looking over, and very obvious, began to cheat. And low and behold, he was caught, by the headmaster himself. Shit.
This wasn’t good; he was going to be expelled indefinitely. The least of Regan’s worries were that he got a zero on that exam because he cheated, but his parents were called in. Fuck, he actually had to see them, damn it. However, much to Regan’s dismay, his locker was also searched and well, it happened to be his temporary location of his stash. Double fuck. This was really the first time his parents were told of how far along in his addiction Regan was, how his attendance was next to nothing, how he cheated and his potential expulsion. He could see it in his father’s eye that Seamus was livid and his mother she saw the disappointment, and if he was sober he would have felt a pang of sadness echo through his heart. He should have been expelled, should have been free from this hellhole. But the headmaster struck a deal with his parents, Regan would go to a boy’s school which would help with his addictions and once he completed the program, his admission would be reinstated. Sounded pleasant, except for what happened when the family of now three got home.
It was as if Seamus held the force of all the seven seas within him as he began to yell and curse and his Irish accent came in full force. Regan’s subtle accent turned also, with his anger rushing within him as well. He was angry that Reed was gone, he was angry that they weren’t a family anymore and there was no way in hell he was going to a school for fuck ups. But something happened that sent him flying sober for a moment. His dad hit him, a slap across the face, snapping his face to the side. Regan didn’t know how to react, he stumbled back a little, a shocked expression on his face. It was weird, anger didn’t wash over Regan for once, and he was surprised by realization. He didn’t say another word to his father and left for that special school in Nevada a week later.
It was boring, living outside of Vegas in an institution fully of fuck ups like him. However, it was near the middle of his time at the institution when he met her. It was one of those group therapy sessions, but this time, the nice people at St. Mathew’s decided it was time to get their sister ‘school’ in on the action. Well, action being the doctors here thinking that the patients are royally fucked and are never going to accomplish anything. It was a great learning environment, hah. He never really participated in therapy, just talked about how he landed on the wrong path and how he’s dealing with quitting all the shit he was on; the old speech of putting down the scissors and stepping away from the craft. But she was also here; she also must be as fucked up as him. Somehow those made him feel a little better. After ‘Share your feelings’ time, the docs left, leaving the entire group alone, going back in the little room with tables and computers and just odd observation. That made Regan uneasy, just uncomfortable, being watched and studied like a laboratory specimen.
But Lena, she was, well, different. She was pretty with her blond hair that reminded him of the sun and china blue eyes that didn’t expect anything of him, which was nice. He was killed by expectations. But Lena didn’t expect anything from him; she only wanted someone to listen to her story. And the surprising thing was that he did. The usually arrogant and subtly conceited Turner put aside those characteristics and became human, just for her. The medical professionals pegged her up as a ‘troubled’ child, but really it were her circumstances that troubled her. It took a while for them both to really open up, with those group therapies just getting the response of ‘I did drugs’ and ‘I tried committing suicide.’ He wanted to listen to her, he wanted to know why rather than just what she did to get here. It was when he finally scored himself a day pass, he took Lena out to a park, and she loved that. They sat around, had a picnic of fast food and milkshakes and eventually ended up under a grand tree atop a hill, overlooking the park and just talked. The real reason she was here was because last year, she was raped and became pregnant. She first tried to kill herself then attempting to jump off of the condo building she lived in with her mother, but it was an entire misconception. She didn’t want to kill her baby, she even name her after her mother, Tristan, regardless of the sex of the baby. But she was worried, what if she didn’t love her baby? That was horrible, she thought, but Regan couldn’t believe that. Lena was the most compassionate person he knew, he couldn’t imagine her not loving her child. She named it, which meant she loved it, right? But a few months into her pregnancy, she lost the baby. But that made things worse, when she blamed herself.
As Lena told him things he knew she never told anyone, Regan also began to tell her about his life, about how he did what he did because he was angry, and how that got out of control. Lena was the first person who didn’t judge, who just listened rather than interpreted. Their friendship was simply plutonic, and Regan wouldn’t have changed a thing about it. But when the Doctors told him that Lena had killed herself, he was torn apart. Regan knew he shouldn’t blame himself but he couldn’t help but to feel as though he should have saved her. Despite the fact that Lena made cassette tapes, explaining her reasoning behind what she did, Regan still couldn't stop taking the blame. He stopped talking for a long period of time, started to actually pay attention to the program and even started to get clean, for real. After a few months, the youngest Turner completed the rehabilitation program in October and managed to actually passing his sophomore year with decent marks. He stuck around the institution for a week, anxious about going home, facing his brothers, his mother and his father. He didn’t care about the people of Valkyrie, judging him and what not, they didn’t matter. After a couple more days, Regan hoped on a Greyhound Bus with his one way ticket to one of the few places he called home. Now in Valkyrie living with his oldest brother Riley and a junior at the academy, let’s hope the littlest Turner doesn’t get into too much trouble this time around.
