Anchester Academy for Young Men is a prodigious boarding school that takes in students at a high school level. It is well known for turning out the great minds of tomorrow. Almost all who graduate from it's halls grow up to become politicians, leading scientists, great doctors, lawyers, judges, generals, etc., and even some return to work within the school as teachers and doctors. Few and far between are the graduates who don't amount to anything.
Ashcaster Preparatory School for Young Women is prodigious in it's own right. Ashcaster, Anchester Academy's sister school, is best known for turning out the great wives of tomorrow. They come out of the school educated, refined, and able and willing to support a husband in anything that he may plan for their future. They're sneaky and conniving often times, though they do well to hide that factor behind pretty faces. They know well how to control their husbands while still acting the role of the shy back up if need be. Or they can play the equal. They are trained almost from day one how to fit. On occasion a particularly scholarly lady will emerge from Ashcaster, and she will always marry the best of the best. Ashcaster women are almost always found married to an Anchester man. They hold respectable jobs if need be, and many return to work within Ashcaster Prep, especially if they have husbands working over at the Academy.
Just because the schools are prodigious, doesn't mean these kids don't have their own problems. After all, it's still high school. Between what's going on within the schools, and the lives of the citizens that live within the town year round, there's always something going on around here.
