i was meaning to do this awhile ago, and finally am getting around to it. just a few little updates for you people. likeeee -
- i'm deleting kiran slade. i love her to death, i really do. but her lack of plots has been bothering me for awhile, and i never got the chance to make her a reall, well-rounded character. i haven't used her in awhile, so there isn't much of a destruction of plots. clare co-cupcake<3 i loved what we had for her and charlie, and i feel bad :[ so we should do a similar plot with...someone else. just sayin'. i don't have anything else to really say, other than i'm doing it. </3
- but, this is the fun part. it'll be short, because i'll do something about it later. there may or may not be one or two more flingers floating around my head. just to keep things...overloaded. :] but i'll post that later. so, in like, five years.

yes, you know her. she is this account, my main. she's my favorite character of mine. she's gone through so much personality change. seriously. i just love her. but, unfortunately, she's boring. for such an epic character, she's seriously lacking in the plot department. silly, ain't it? she's my main account, after all. apart from some epic epic epic plots with the standwood twins, and an on-off dating mess with robbie, she's empty. i'd like for her to be my character with multiple plots, with a lot to continue developing her as a character. which is the reason for this board! i decided to do something of a revamp for my special flinger. <3 all of which will be in lovely point form below. save you all from reading my endless nonsense xD

- biggest change? she's dropping out of high school. the winter break is just about to start on v-side, and that's when she decided to say 'fuck it' to the school she never goes to. she doesn't need it. so, the final semester of her final year, shay anderson is dropping out of valkyrie academy. fun part? she doesn't tell anyone. on the first day of classes, she doesn't show up. and for weeks after. interesting, eh?
- well, i guess you would be wondering where she went. she is, after all, fairly high on the social ladder. she had a life here in valkyrie. but she didn't even tell them, her closest friends. she wrote her father a note, telling him she's off to paris. it was the best place, on the other side of the world.
- you see, it was becoming too much. for awhile, shay was a local indie hipster type. then she was the shallow party girl. then she got caught inbetween wanting to ignore life, and judge everyone else. it just didn't work for her. i do have some other psychological reasons, but i won't really elaborate. they aren't very interesting xD basically, if you know shay, you know is an impulsive, inconsiderate, highly amused, judgemental, artsy bombshell. she's sarcastic and crass, finding herself to be above high school drama and watching her friends' from the sidelines. she always knew she was better than all of this. ego, she has one.
- now, here we are, the end of december in paris, france. why did she come here? because she wanted to pursue her current career - modeling. she was never overly successful, what being in school and all. but no anymore. this is her time to step into the scene hard and fast. come february, you are going to be seeing her on every runway in europe. you'll find her in high fashion editorials from vogue italia to harper's baazare. campaigns? no problem. i hear she's the perfect gucci girl. world, meet your newest high fashion runway queen. basically? shay is my new kiran, my new supermodel. seriously. the jessica stam of two years ago ( famous enough to be used as a pb ;] )
no objections, it's what i'm doing<3 so, where does that leave everyone? she isn't getting deleted, so she is still going to be around. i'm kind of intimidated, since it looks tough to have a character who will be in more international places than in valkyrie. she's in paris until february, which is when new york fashion week is. that's when she's back in the states, which is probably easier to plot. yes, i'm stupid. and yes, i'm kind of scared. i'm going to have to rely on you guys a lot for plots |: this does make a lot more sense in my head. i know it sounds kind of weird right now.

personality? well, it's the same. shay has never been the type to let someone else tell her how to act. she's the cool, artsy bitch backstage at the fashion shows. real runway queen. so, the biggest change is her ditching her life in valkyrie without telling anybody. soon enough, however, she's getting caught up in the rebel scene in new york during the fashion week. it's so much more her scene than valkyrie, she fits in perfectly. makes new friends. pretty soon, she's attending wild loft magazine parties and concert after-parties. a junior socialite, a professional hipster. finally, she found the perfect balanche she lost in valkyrie - the artsy partiers. uhm yeah, i probably didn't have to tell you that. this is so long already -_- oh well.

basically, after two or three months as the international model-on-the-rise, the real drama begins. modeling in competitive. some girls scare her, shay anderson. you have to keep up with the trends in order not to fall behind. that's when she discovers the miracle of diet pills. those loft partiers take them all the time. with her diet of coffee, icky cigarettes, and the odd sandwich, she's going to be abusing them. the results are addictive, even if they're deadly. young and pretty, what could go wrong?

okay yeah. i'm done not making sense. here's the rundown - shay's ditching school permanently at the beginning of the second semester. she's booking a ticket to paris. she resurfaces, meaning people actually know she's alive, in february, at new york fashion week. there, she blossoms into a professional hipster ( it's a label. think alexa chung xD ). soon, she'll be abusing diet pills. being unbalanced is what kept her well-rounded. now that shay found a scene where she fits in so well, her flaws are going into overdrive. her judgements are ridiculous. she'll judge anything who can't party hard and hold a damn good debate at the same time. she's inconsiderate and impatient, entitled and more of a cold bitch. she's very international, meaning she could be anywhere, anytime. her biggest goal right now is to rebel in all the right ways. oh, by the end of new york fashion week, she's giving herself a new last name. her agency wanted it.

this could have been SO MUCH SHORTER. D: oh well. love me :] so, that's me begging for plots. and ranting too much about a change that could have been told in three sentences. -sigh- i hate how long and jumbled that is. if you don't understand, i don't blame you. i'll explain. my biggest fear is that she'll become impossible to plot with, because she won't be in valkyrie all the time \: but i am making it a point for her to be there a lot of the time between fashion weeks. uh...well, if anyone has ideas, do hit me up. if it fails epically, i'll bring her back to valkyrie and say nothing ever happened.

i love your revamp, seriously. i'm working on daphne's right now, though it's nothing as nearly as epic as shay's. i also decided i love your analogies xD famous enough to be a pb, alexa chung-like. i know exactly what you're talking about xD you make me laugh, minion. well, first off, i don't think she is unplottable because i have some characters that will be plotting with her.

first off, i have luca. damn, we need to get luca and one of your models in a photoshoot. we keep saying that but it never pans out. well, we are doing it now. he can randomly pop up somewhere in new york or whatever and shoot her, and then pop back in valkyrie with enough time to bitch with maggie xD

i also think that tommy and her should do something. idk what but once she becomes all famous, that's his scene. but he doesn't like attention to be taken away from him, remember xD idk. they should still plot somehow.

while we're on my high schoolers, i can see daphne and her partying like they own the place. xD shay will be in the older crowd, daphne is hanging with that group too, so it works out. maybe even shay gives daphne a diet pill just because... idk, just bc.

So, I am enthralled with revamped shay, the professional hipster title suits her. if she were in calgary, she'd be hanging out in Kensington, fo' sho. Anywho, I think Allegra and Shay would get along. Weird I know, you know since she's shay's old face but I think they would be fun. When she comes back, I think they should party it up, perhaps meet at a a nifty kensington-esque party or something? gosh, I'm fail at this, but yeah, they would mesh well, despite the fact that if/when Allegra finds out about the crash dieting and pills business, she will freak out... well not really freak out in a classic sense but be perplexed as to why she resorted to that and pretty much profile her... Yeah, Allie isn't much of a normal human.

But before Shay goes down that route, I can so see her and Allie sit down in Allegra's home and flip through the phonebook, looking for suitable last names, drinking international coffee while discussing something. ugh lame, I don't think I have anything else to add, except Regan will admire her from afar. xD

Meg would probably think it's kind of awesome that she's gaining fame, because knowing Meg she might be able to feed off of it. Its who she is, come on. Plus as Shay's gone, Meg's losing pretty much everything with the whole Dustin plot and since she's getting so much worse, she'll probably be blinded by Shay's getting worse. Probably admire her. lol What a twisted family. Derek would probably just gain more distain for her. But still, since it's out there that they are in fact siblings, I could still see him trying to care slightly if he started to realize that Shay was practically starving herself and doing more of the "ine"s, nicotine, caffeine, etc than she should be. He would try. It might be interesting because he's for the moment, given up on helping Meg since they have so many years worth of issue build up together, if then he switches to trying to help Shay instead. But I can just see him getting so overwhelmed and frustrated especially when Meg falls ill and is in the hospital.

oh hell yeah, we definitely need to plot them for the events. i'm not sure if robbie'll be going to the pool party or not, but if shay's going, i think he just might. they can have one of their public fights. <3 it can be one of those arguments that's really about nothing at all... but it just sort of escalates and they both want to win it so they both keep arguing. until robbie pushes her into the pool. xD and then she climbs right out and smacks him. but then they eventually wind up making out in some corner somewhere. lmao, i just wrote that down as it came into my head. xD as for the snowstorm... hm. i don't really know. they could get locked outside while it's snowing? just a suggestion. but a some point, robbie'll tell shay to lay down in the snow like she's about to make a snow angel, then take out his flask of whiskey and pour it into the shape of a halo over her head and go "there. you're my snow angel." random, but i think it fits them, because ever they're relatively sweet moments are kinda weird. i hate myself for saying this, but there are hardly any of my folks who would mesh well with her. the only one i can really think of is sarai and that's maybe when the diet pills start really effecting her health and shay like passes out backstage or something? i have no idea. hmm, maggie isn't into that scene. j.r. doesn't follow modeling and isn't leaving his sister behind. carly's preoccupied with cain and practically everyone else. maybe she could get along with wes? maybe she's so used to the fast paced life of modeling and she meets him and wonders why he's moving so slow. maybe she envies him in a way because he doesn't give a damn about what other people think and yet can still be completely and utterly happy? that's about the best i can come up with.

Dude! Allie and shay will be epic friends! She def. wont be weirded out by her lack of presence in Valkyrie, she'll say "Bring me back something from your travels, super model." and yeah, I can so see them being cool and untouchable but still be really good friends. woo. i love how i hog so much harris plotting. it's great. ooh, it'd be fun if we plotted her and dustin. there's her being the socialite model, and him being all famous. then there's the meg connection. ooh. maybe they meet at some party or something in new york and hit it off? then whatever happens. time passes. after when she's in valkyrie, and finds out about how messed up meg got. and then they randomly pass each other again, and she suddenly is all...shay-ish to him. oh she'd hate him for doing that to her. your lateness is part of what makes you so epic.<3

yay! i really like the sound of them. they bring out even more epicness in each other. she'll love allie even more for that. so far, most of her friends are going to be pretty fizzed about her sudden ditching valkyrie. which is why new york-based friends are best.<33 she'll mail allie random flags and shot glasses from everywhere she goes. who needs e-mails? woo. i can just imagine them being all tall and pretty and aloof, but still so close. aw. it's going to be unfortunate when people find out. not that she really hides it, but still. she won't talk about it. although she might bring it up with allie; like when she collapses on...someone's runway. who's epic but evil? balenciaga? oh. michael kors if it's in new york. 'cause i love him. anyway. hehe. i just love this. brainstorming session needs to happen<3 wilde. like oscar wilde? like how olivia wilde did? hehe. sorry. xD i think i have a name in the back of my mind, but still. shay would so counter with like, "what about allegra. allegra norris?" like chuck norris. or someone equally cheesy but cool. xD ooh, yeah? lucky her. she'd feel special<3 allie would be one of the few people she doesn't call by their last names.


that'd be so excellent<3 go to all of the parties they wouldn't be invited to otherwise, looking as they always do - so cool and untouchable. aw<3 she'd love that. people must visit her! although she'll be flying down to valkyrie a lot. but still. that'd be so fun. if she knew allie was coming, shay'd even not go to some castings so she could have more time and they can be fabulous together. intentionally take the paps away from reality stars or something, hehe. she needs to be shay's backstage buddy. i can imagine them going out to the meat packing district or something in the crazy runway make-up. xD
