[Emilia De Clancy]

soo hey, i'm liv! haha! i'm pretty new, so I only have one character, but I may or may not expand depending on time and everything! But for now, emilia is my only one, but I like her a lot and would love some great plotting with her!

so yes, as I said before this is emilia! i'll give you a little rundown of her here, but if you want her complete in-depth personality check out her app right here!

anyways, she grew up in vienna in austria, really well off, as her dad was a stock broker doing extremely well and her mother had lineage in royalty, so obviously her family wealth was pretty large, even if she was forced to withdraw any claims to the austrian throne because she did not marry into royalty.

she's an only child, and has been through a lot. her mother killed herself when she was nine, an overdose of the pills eventually leading to her death. her husband took it extremely hard, turning to alcohol and blaming his only daughter, emilia here, for killing her. eventually he started verbally abusing her often, which darkened her mood and general happy vibrance, and by the time they moved to valkyrie when she was ten she was a changed person. more internal, upset, and hurt. without a mother to nurture her and a father to care, she became really lost. her father then started abusing her at fifteen physically, breaking bones sometimes and causing lots of bruises, but she's dependent on him because he has control of her inheritance, even if she should have been granted it months ago. he doesn't want her to get out of his grasp, though she's fighting very hard to be an individual and eventually break away from him.

as for her personality, she's very determined. an excellent track star for the school as an incoming senior, she's highly regarded as one of the best in the state right now, and it all stems from her fears her dad creates for her and the fact that it's the perfect outlet to get out any emotions. she's running a lot, or working at a local ice cream parlor just for a job so she doesn't have to ask her dad for money. she enjoys being an individual and is incredibly sweet, albeit a bit reserved. she has a lot of secrets she keeps, so she doesn't let a lot escape because she watches her words super carefully. she excels in school as well to keep her dad happy, and in general will be light hearted and shy around others though she's very giving and caring and will love her friends incredibly deep because it makes up for her dad not really loving her anymore. she's afraid of sex because she thinks her dad could sexually abuse her at some time or another if word got out she was sleeping around...she actually really doesn't date anyway, because of him. she's too scared and is really submissive to his needs, which a lot of people wouldn't understand because she doesn't let those secrets get out, but it leads to a lot of dropped interest. she's really lovely and unintentionally alluring, and believes that one day love is out there for her....just when and where is the question. she's optimistic when it comes to getting away from her dad in her mind as well, so it keeps her spirits up when they need to be. other than that, she's just there for everyone and doesn't give up on people. again, if you need more, her personality is pretty lengthy in her app! click the link up there ^^

i'd love her to have a bit of everything. close friends, definitely, because she needs a support system even if they don't know exactly all what goes down. i'm sure they'd have some idea, but wouldn't want to talk to her about it like a hesitant thing. and then love interests, of course. i'd love that one guy she finds and falls for, but is so scared between following her feelings and facing the wrath of her dad that it could cause her to try to pull away, even if he wouldn't let her. it'd be cute, haha. and then enemies would be a bit hard, as she's really sweet, but if you are creative then let me know something interesting!

hey so i'm ruby and i've got a few characters that could plot with emilia.

first and foremost there's maggie. it's not a usual thing for her but i can see maggie being really protective over her. she's not the type of person to take others under her wing so it would probably be as much of a shock to maggie as it would be to emilia. i can see her helping her with her father. maggie knows exactly how to intimidate people. it's part of her job working with her father's drug cartel and with the italian mob in valkyrie. she finds the dirt on people and uses it as leverage to influence people in ways that would benefit her. somewhere down the line i can see maggie doing that for emilia and even putting a gun to her father if she sees him beating her. dunno why. like i said before it's not her usual thing but for emilia i think she'd do it. she would have to open up to her at some point, maggie wouldn't let her keep a secret like that if she's protecting her, but it'll probably take some time. plus look at how cute that are.

other than maggie i can see j.r. being really protective of her too. he would especially if maggie kind of takes her in. he doesn't like abusive parents, especially ones who get physical. he's a big guy so i can see him really scaring her but after a while she'd see that he's just a huge teddy bear, not very dangerous at all.

so those two are the only ones i can come up with at the moment. if i think of another i'll let you know :].

hey liv :] i'm becca. so i've got a few characters i could see getting along with emilia.

so for starters, i could definitely see emilia and seriah becoming very good friends. seriah's mother also commit suicide when she was six. her father also turned to alcohol and abused seriah, though it grew progressively over the years. finally it got to the point where he did her serious damage, so she got out of the household and moved to valkyrie with her long lost twin brother <3 i could see them being pretty close. seriah would be pretty protective over her and she has kind of become a little bitch since she moved out of her dad's house, so she wouldn't be afraid to stand up to him... as long as he didn't touch her. lol. so i'm thinking we can leave that to magge ^^ she's a badass. but seriah wouldn't be her normally rude and pissed off self if she knew what emilia was going through because she would relate completely. i think it'd be kind of a funny friendship, like a balance. emilia seems like kind of a romantic at heart, and reserved, well seriah is... dark and not reserved... but only because she lashes out at people. xD sooo i dunno. i'm rambling.

ummm, sera was the only screamer that came to mind. if emilia and sera became friends, then i could see teddy being nice and feeling bad and wanting to help her, since that's kind of part of his personality. reanne would probably get along with her, but she almost dies when she talks to people. paisely is kind of a wild child. she's crazy and a partier, so i guess maybe it could be a good thing if they became friends? paisely wouldn't let anybody really try to run emilia over and she'd just adopt her into her ten-child family. lol. jacob is a sophomore in college... so i don't know.

the first two characters of mine that came to mind when reading this thread and skimming through her application was celia giovanni (emma watson) and aaron malinda (chace crawford). celia would definitely like her, despite the two year age difference. the fact that she has a good work ethic would appeal to celia, though she wouldn't really be the kind of person to bother her without a reason, but if somehow they were to meet, i think celia and emilia would get along.

then there's aaron, the little pretty boy. he's in a family of wealth, but is nothing compared to emilia's family of royalty...and stock brokers, ahah. anyways, he was well-raised in a middle-class household that was almost traditional, but soon found out that his true birth parents were in valkyrie, which is why he's here. aaron has a love for soccer, but was raised to believe that to be successful, you must work hard, and so he does. yes, he had been in detention a few times and isn't quite the perfect student, but unknown to most people, his education and future means a lot to him. he's quite a nice guy to be around, and can get romantic and cute when he likes a girl (and a bit overprotective as well). anyways, since emilia isn't the kind of girl that spends her life partying and drinking, and is actually productive with her life, aaron will most definitely take a liking to her. since it's obvious that she's hiding something, he'd definitely be curious and want to figure her out. long story short: aaron will most likely be quite intrigued by emilia. (:

and if you want to plot with my other charries, i also have amber malinda (selena gomez, sophomore, troublemaker), seth malinda (ian somerhalder, adult, arrogant ass), and min-sook park (hwang mi hee, coyote at bad seeds, adult).

hi! i'm clare. welcome to v-side. <3 emilia sounds wonderful, so i definitely call plots.

well, i'm planning on making an erin heatherton character, sienna giovanni, and she's the first thing that comes to mind, simply because she and candice have some hella precious pictures together. you can read info on her here, towards the bottom. they've got a bit of an age difference and yadda yadda yadda, but i think we should definitely find a way to do something with them. their personalities would probably mesh pretty well and i could see them eventually sort of having a laid back and sisterly kind of friendship. also, sienna recently had an abusive boyfriend, so if she were to eventually find out about emilia's situation with her dad, she would really try to help her and be there for her and whatnot.

i also think it would be fun if we were to do something with emilia and my boy robbie wallace. he's scottish, a senior, a jackass, likes to annoy people, pb dan rad. i can see him developing a big soft spot for emilia and feeling protective over her, partly because she would remind him a little of his younger sister. so he'd act kind of like an older brother, haha. slamming people into lockers for making fun of her or saying something crude to her, that type of thing. i'd think that'd be really fun simply because normally robbie's a huge ass hat to the girls he likes, heh.

hm. i also think that her and leda would probably get along well. leda's a total sweetheart, loud and hyper, an artistic painter, has adhd, pb leighton meester. she would definitely like emilia and want to befriend her. leda also loves to run, so they could totally go jogging together and stuff. <3

oh, and then i have artie. you can kinda get the gist of her from the description in her sig. and we defintiely need to to something with her and emilia, because how damn cute is this?!

yaay, candice and rosie! such an adorable duo, i love them a lot. i also think that maggie and emilia would work really well as friends...sort of a complete opposite status really working. maggie seems very outgoing and conniving and strong, while emilia is very demure and won't really stand up for herself, so it'd be nice for her to have a really good friend to look over her...especially when she eventually spills about her dad, or maggie even seeing it happen. an intense scene / showdown between mags and her dad would be super awesome too sometime in the future! but yes, for now emilia would probably find a confidant in her, and know that she was safe with her whenever they were together. plus they really are cute!! <3

and yes that'd be so cute of j.r!! i love kellan, haha, he could be a really great older brother to her, and once she got over her initial fear of him and everything, and her dad's opinion of being friends with him, she'd really take comfort in knowing him. maybe she would even introduce him to her dad sometime, just because i can see her being really comfortable with him, even if they've got a few years between them! thanks for posting, these sound perfect!

wow, her and sera are a lottt alike! that would be good for like, future bonding and everything. i can see her being a little bit wary of her at first, especially if she sees sera's bitchy side because she's not one to stand up to anyone and is pretty shy, but if / whenever sera finds out about how their pasts are eerily alike i can see em being more open to accepting her....not that she wouldn't already, but she would be more standoffish with her if sera was cold to her. but when they became friends they could definitely balance each other out. emi really is a romantic at heart, and could try to get sera to come around to it, while sera taught her to be a little more...bold, i'd like to think.

as for the others, teddy would be another great friend to her, and paisley and her could really be interesting. if her dad was out of town on a weekend i can see paisley dragging her out and showing her a good time, and it would open her eyes to being more fun and outgoing and figuring out how different her life is than other people. it'd be a great experience for her, i think! i can see her being a bit more adventurous after that, and really helping develop her character. i'm excited to be plotting with you!

oh don't worry, i can always find some way for characters to meet, haha. i say they were in one of those classes together, like health or something, where grades can mix. they could have been paired up for a project for that class, and gotten to know each other that way! they'd be sweet friends, and i love emma watson so so so much, so i'd like that!

and thenn...chace crawford <333 omg, obsession status. i love him a lot, haha. but besides my obsession, they sound like they have a lot in common. and they'd be super cute, haha. she'd definitely admire his dedication to school, his future, soccer, everything...and i can see them bantering back and forth while she runs track around the soccer fields and he's at practice sometime, haha. i can see them being really close friends at first, and then slowly but surely she'd probably develop feelings. especially if he would come visit her whenever she was working, that'd definitely propel her feelings. she'd just be really scared about what her dad would say, and eventually if her feelings grew strong enough she'd spill it all to him and he could be even more protective of her and everything. i think they'd be really adorable together, if you wanted to do that, haha. just let me know, we could have fun!

thanks! and erin, rosie, and candice are a super cute win team, and because i think her and maggie and emi are going to be really close, i can see her getting to know sienna by association, if maggie knows her. then they could be a really chill and laid back group of three, and yeah, i can see these two being really close as well! then they could all have sleepovers and be girls, haha, and be there for emi when she needs a place to stay if her dad's out of control, and tell them about him. then they could all plan ways to help her out to make her feel better, haha. it'd be really awesome!

and awww, robbie! that'd be so cute! she's pretty defenseless, haha, so she'd be really scared of him if she heard about his rep and then ran into him, but she'd be sweet and courteous because she always is, and then their friendship could take off from there. i can see him and her acting like brother and sister, making fun of one another and being there for each other when needed. she'd see him past what everyone thinks, and would appreciate it whenever he did things for her. i'd be super cute too, haha, and it sounds really fun as well c:

aww yes, running buddies! she'd definitely love one of those, even if she's really really dedicated to it and will probably be really freaking hard to keep up with, haha. i can see them definitely bonding over that, and then relaxing together afterwards and swimming and everything. for some reason i can see emi's dad taking a liking to leda, so they could hang out at her house and her dad would be really nice to her. she'd definitely appreciate that, haha, so i can see them being rather close!

and finally, i loveee mona! that's such a cute picture! they can be friends, for sure, and emi would really support her dreams of being a future director, offering to help out whenever possible! haha you can elaborate on that, but i think they'd be good supporters of one another's future endeavors, especially if they're both passionate about things!

oh seriah, ending up friends with all the abused kids on the block. xD well i say at first they just rage at each other. lol. like immediate disliking or something, because seriah tends to provoke those sort of feelings from people. so yeah, em is kind of shy, but maybe some how they figure out about each other's past? i could always throw teddy in for a second when it comes to this. he likes to defend seriah so he might just go spill the beans to emilia and face sera's wrath later on. lol. and then that could always kick off her a teddy's friendship.

as for paisely, that sounds like a good idea. she's a psycho when it comes to this sort of thing, so she'd be dragging emilia around and trying to make her dress more like a barbie doll or something. and paisely's house would always be open to emi when she just needs to get out of her own. i don't think her parents would notice one more kid, and since there are six boys and only four girls, i'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind. lol. i could also see paisely trying to whore her out. xD not really in a literal sense, but just talking up about her to any guys. or if emilia took an interest in somebody paisely would jump at that and start making arangements. she likes match-making. And I guess if emi got close to paisely, she'd get to know jacob pretty well too. he'd probably just think of her like a little sister though. be all protective and stuff.

So I kept meaning to post on your page but I got busy and then forgot and everything but now I am reminded and I was actually thinking we should so plot her and my new boy Cole. So now I am finally getting to it.

Cole on the shallow end of things, looks like the complete opposite of Emilia. He's cute but not in the way society usually recognizes. While Emilia looks like a Victoria Secrets model (wonder why lol). Emilia's crazy wealthy, Cole's dirt poor. Emilia's a princess of the Valks, Cole's the baby brother of the Shaks. Emilia's a sweet heart, Cole can be but mostly he's sarcastic and semi-cynical who's in debt from a gambling addiction lol. She's optimistic, he's pessimistic. She's Water and He's Vinegar.

Things the two have in common? Well, both their mom's are dead, although Cole's died slowly from cancer. Has a tattoo of her maiden name on his forearm. Both of their father's are highly abusive. Both are private with their lives.

He's got kind of bad reputation because he set CiCi's brewery on fire the night of his mother's funeral. His father was abusive to his mother and him for years before she died. His dad's a local PD and a crooked, racist one too. Taking bribes from white crooks to look away, targeting any non-whites, just an all around bastard. And everyone in the neighborhood knew the man was abusive to his wife because she was rarely seen without bruises and now, pretty much the same with Cole, people know what happens but he doesn't talk about it, and they don't talk about it to him, At least in the shaks. The popular rich kids tend to just think of him as the freak who set the brewery on fire.

But I think these two would be interesting if they began to care about each other. Because of the parallels between them. A pairing that proves abuse isn't about social status.
