[/SIZE][/color][/b][/font][/SIZE][/color][/b][/font]the year is 1975, and voldemort has just launched his first assault upon the
ministry of magic. he achieved his goal; infiltrating the ministry quietly and
without a fuss, the dark lord managed to cast the imperius curse upon the minister
for magic himself. now, nobody is safe, and, with the order of the phoenix at a
loss for what to do, it looks as though voldemort and his death eaters are staying in
power. the citizens and ministry workers of wizarding britain go about their daily lives
peacefully, as normal, unaware that behind the scenes, dark forces are at work.
he-who-must-not-be-named's first move was to establish a new publication,
set aside from the daily prophet. articles of allegianceis a cleverly
run, incredibly manipulative propaganda tabloid, seeking only to
evoke feelings of terror and chaos among the masses. it's yet to prove whether or
not it is a success; though, as it is the brainchild of tom riddle himself, it's bound
to be. the wizarding world is in turmoil; confusion and mistrust is rife.
