WORST MEMORY:
“i was thirteen when it happened. he just never showed up for practice that day. he didn't, call, text, nothing. by the time i made it home i found my mother crying in the kitchen. she had arrived home from work late again, and his stuff was just missing. i remember running all around the house calling out to him, but i never did receive an answer. i tried to call, text, even email. he was gone, my own father had just walked out on me one day. at first i didn't know how to feel and as the weeks went on i began to blame myself. all i knew was i had to become great, i had to see my name in lights one day. maybe, just maybe if those light are bright enough he'll see them to and come back. ”
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
closed off - arianna is a very closed off individual. she rarely lets anyone close enough to see the real her. sure she has her fair share of friends, but who’s to say that half of them know the real her? a lot happened in her childhood to make her feel as if she couldn’t talk to anyone. being forced to move and start over in a new school didn’t help at all. she feels as if nobody in the world can feel the way she does, like she is the only girl in the entire world who has had the weight of the world on her shoulders.
angry- every since her father left arianna has been nothing but a big ball of anger. she can’t understand why he would just up and leave her, after she tried to be the best. he has pushed and pushed her, until she couldn’t move. she tried her best to obey by his rules, his diet, his schedule. but none of it ever seemed to make him happy, and in the end he left. arianna blames herself, so really she is just angry with herself. but she can’t help but to take her anger out on others once it begins to build.
perfectionist - you can blame arianna’s father for her need to be perfect. she tries her damnedest every day to get everything just right. the clothes she makes have to be perfect, her dance steps have to be perfect, she has to be the best. he pushed and pushed until she couldn’t take anymore, and then without any notice just left. arianna feels as if she wasn’t good enough for him and if she can get everything just right, and be perfect, one day he might come back.
outgoing - although arianna has some issues to over come she is a genuinely outgoing person. she isn’t the type to just walk past you in the street. if you happen to look as if you need help, or your just wandering around looking bored, you can count on this girl skipping over to talk to you. she may never let you in to see the true arianna bryant but you can count on the fact that she’ll be a fantastic friend, and a great listener.
trustworthy - this girl is like fort knox, she doesn’t really talk about anyone elses business to anyone really. probably because she doesn’t really have the time for gossip. if she isn’t hanging out with friends you can probably find her in the gym working on dance moves or just working out. you can trust her with any secret, or any problem, but beware if she did have someone to talk to she wouldn’t be the best secret keeper.
AND WE'LL BOTH GROW OLD ,[/color]

PARENTS: richard bryant - 42 - father - missing in action, sarah bryant - 35 - mother - surgeon
SIBLINGS: none
OTHER: none
LIVING SITUATION: dorms
HISTORY:
richard and sarah bryant were high school sweethearts. they grew up in the same neighborhood and never dreamed they would wind up married or with a child. but soon after high school richard went off to college and sarah stayed behind, carrying a secret with her. she never wanted to inform richard of the pregnancy, she didn't want to be the one to ruin his dreams of a college degree. yet he arranged a surprise visit during christmas break to come see her, and once she answered the door the cat was out of the bag. richard proposed on the spot, unable to hide how happy he was, and right before arianna arrived they were married.
richard and sarah came from money so it's safe to say arianna grew up privileged, and without a want in the world. her only concern was her dance. her father had her enrolled in ballet as soon as she was walking, and arianna loved it ever since. in the beginning it was fun, but as the years went by it became more serious. her father began to push her harder every year. placing her on a strict routine, and even a diet. arianna couldn't help but find ballet as more of a chore, than a hobby. she was by far the greatest dancer her father had ever seen.
the arguing began when she was ten. her mother had been having an affair, and arianna was sure they were going to be divorced. luckily her father forgave her mother, and arianna never really forgave her for almost ruining everything. although they stayed together richard always found a moment to throw it in sarah's face. if he came home shit-faced, sarah had no right to be mad. after all she was the one that had the affair, at least that's how it was in his eyes. at first arianna would just hide in her room, throw on a pair of headphone, and just blare music. but after the first couple of months she couldn't take it anymore. she began sneaking out, finding herself wandering the streets, and half the time never coming home.
at thirteen she wound up in the hospital. arianna wasn't sure what had happened. she was walking down the streets of valkyrie and next thing she knew she was being grabbed. the men who jumped her beat her, took her money, her jewelry, and luckily for her nothing more. the police called her parents immediately and they rushed to the hospital, meeting the ambulance at the emergency gate. richard blamed sarah for what had happened, and sarah blamed richard. the situation just turned into yet another argument.
he was gone before her fourteenth birthday. she had showed up to practice right after school, but richard was a no show. after waiting for over and hour arianna decided to walk home, and the nightmare started as soon as she opened the front door. sarah was in the kitchen crying and drinking, something her mother never did. arianna immediately ran up the stairs to find her father stuff gone. his clothes were missing from the closet, his office had been cleaned out, everything was just gone. arianna started off her freshman year at valkyrie high bitter, and heartbroken.
arianna just barely passed through school, her only real passion being her dance. she figured if she could become the best one day her father would come back. her only dream was to see her name i lights one day, and maybe if they shone bright enough her father would see them and come find her. arianna bryant is now a junior at valks high and still doesn't really care for anything but her dance. she is barely scraping by in her classes, and honestly could care less. if most agencies didn't require a high school diploma, arianna would've dropped out years ago.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:it seemed like forever since she had left new york, a lot longer than eleven months. it has shocked everyone how she just up and left without a word, chelsea was never that person. she used to be one of the most trusting, loving, and caring person you could ever meet. part of her still was, but part of her had also changed. she had arrived back in new york with a little bundle of joy in her life. arianna chandler was born july twenty-third, weighing in at seven pounds six ounces. the drive from boise back to new york surprisingly wasn't hard. arianna was to little to take onto a plane, so driving was their only option. luckily enough to chelsea newborns did almost nothing but sleep.
first stop her old house, where her parents still happened to be staying. she had called as soon as the bright lights of the city shown through the horizon. they were expecting her and there first little granddaughter. they had even offered to watch her for the night. meaning chelsea could either go find some old friends, or even look for liam. chelsea knew that everyone she had known was graduated from high school by now and either off at college or partying. all she really had to do was drop little arianna off then go back to where the parties used to be. chelsea pulled slowly into her parents driveway, trying her best not to disturb little arianna. smiling she put the car into park leaving the engine running. the plan was to only stay for a couple of minutes, if she was to stay for much longer her parents would surely grill her about liam.
it had been a decision they made together. her parents had never really like liam in the first place, and their little princess just happened to wind up pregnant with his baby. that's when they came up with the idea for her to leave. after four years of dating liam couldn't even tell her that he loved her, let alone stay around to help her take care of a baby. informing him about little arianna would've ruined liam's life, his dreams, and probably his high school career. her parents might not have believed it, but chelsea knew he would give up everything for her and that baby. even if it meant dropping out of high school and working a minimum wage job for the rest of his life, she couldn't let that happen. before she could even lift the car seat out of the car her parents were standing by her side, cooing at the sleeping infant. "ok mom she really doesn't wake up at night at all, but she will drink about a bottle and a half in the morning. give her some tummy time on the bed with you when she wakes up, she loves that. oh and i love you." chelsea said smiling at her parents. she quickly handed the car seat and diaper bag to her father, handing her mother the pack and play. "i will see you guys first thing in the morning and then we can talk, right now i just want to go to amber's and get some rest. that girl really missed me."
chelsea watched as her parents headed back into the house, staring in amazement at the little bundle of joy. of course she had; had her option. there was always adoption, even abortion. but from the moment that pink plus sign showed up chelsea knew there was no way she could get rid of the baby with either option. she had loved the baby growing in her tummy from the first second she even suspected it. chelsea sighed, heading towards manhattan. all the good parties had been there back when she lived her, and not much could have changed in eleven months right? she crossed the bridge quickly, and from then on it wasn't had to find a party. chelsea drove past slowly, thinking she recognized a few old classmates. it wasn't hard to find a parking spot on a friday night, everyone from manhattan was in the city anyway.
chelsea turned off the car locking the doors behind her, quickly she slipped the key ring onto her finger. she fixed her dress before heading towards the loud music. she squeezed her way into the front door heading directly for the kitchen. if she happened to run into anyone from her past she was going to need a drink, and fast. she scanned the room her eye landing on one familiar face, liam scott was at the party. she froze in her tracks less then twenty feet from him, directly in his line of sight. she felt as if her heart stopped, her breathe caught in her throat. she was sure he had seen her by now, but even if he hadn't she was frozen in place.credit: format by lainey, lyrics by modest mouse
