She was nervous, she realized. She forced herself to waltz into that club like she had a reason for being there. She was dressed in the only thing that was club appropriate in her wardrobe; a short, red, strapless dress that clung to her every curve. On her feet, she wore a pair of black, strap heels. She wondered if she even looked the part. She must have if she managed to get in. Her black hair wasn't up. That's how she usually wore it, though. She walked over to the counter and sat down."I'd like to order a diet cola,"
she purrs softly towards the bartender. She was nervous, but she refused to show it. She glanced at her nails which were painted to match her dress. After glancing at her nails, she allows her dark gaze to slide around the room from under her lashes. She felt like dancing. She wanted to feel the music take control. With a sigh, she closes her eyes and stands up. "Never mind," she murmurs to the bartender. With that, she waltzed onto the dance floor and let the music take control of her movements. She dipped, whirled, twirled, and flashed the occasional smile. During this entire routine, her dress never rode up. It was odd; considering her movements. She allows her teeth to sink softly into her lower lip. She lazily nibbles on the lip, gazing around. Tonight, she would party. Tomorrow, she would learn. Finally finishing her dancing, she sighs and walks back to the counter. "I guess I'll have that coke after all," she murmurs and slides the required amount of money over to the bartender. She wasn't used to the nightlife. She was determined to learn, though. She adjusted her dress so that the fabric covered her. She sighs and crosses her legs. She was going to be miserable in school tomorrow, but she didn't really care right now. Los Angeles was known for their parties. Well, tonight, she would throw one of her own in the club. She tilts her head back to gaze at the ceiling. The lights danced off of her eyes. It was dazzling to simply sit and watch as the lights bounced from one area to the next. She didn't really notice when the bartender tapped her shoulder and slid the coke in front of her. "Sorry," she murmurs. "I was just..enjoying the view," she laughs; almost giggles. She straightens up and picks up the glass of coke. She slowly grips the straw within her mouth and sips slowly. The drink tasted amazing. Of course, she hadn't had much to drink that day. As she drinks, she closes her eyes and becomes lost in the moment. She would party again once this glass was empty. As the straw reaches the last few drops and makes a slurping noise, she sighs and lowers the glass. It had been good while it lasted. She stands and waltzes back over to the dance floor. Once reaching the floor, she resumes her aforementioned movements that included dipping, whirling, twirling, and flashing smiles. It felt nice to let loose every once in a while. She closes her eyes and becomes lost in the rhythm. It felt strange to her. Usually, she was at her desk with her face buried in a book. Tonight, she was experiencing life. With a sigh, she stops her movements and simply stands still for a moment or so. She finally walks back to the counter and sits down. She couldn't help but order another coke. As the bartender brought it to her, she noticed something. He seemed to be smiling. She wondered what had put the smile on his face then shrugged slightly, picking up the coke. She sipped slowly, enjoying the crisp taste of the soda.
