“I really think you would,” he murmured as she led him out of the gym. The bright lights blinded him and he swung his free hand up in an attempt to block the light. It didn’t work. She pulled him up to the closet marked “supplies” and Elliot couldn’t help but laugh. It was like every teen movie ever made. He followed Rylee inside, noticing the small space and the darkness. The door closed behind him. Left in total darkness Elliot was a little uncomfortable, after all he couldn’t see his hand in front of him let alone Rylee.
Leaning in, Elliot found her, kissing her softly on what felt like her forehead. He moved down to her lips. Oh, she tasted good. Deep down a red flag was going off that this was a bad idea, but Elliot pushed all thoughts aside. It felt right. “You look really pretty tonight…,” he said, stopping for a second. “Even in the dark.”

Rylee smiled as she felt Elliot's lips on her forehead. Now this was getting somewhere. As his lips covered her own, Rylee pushed back a little. She was definitely not shy at the moment. As he said that she looked really pretty, Rylee giggled and reached a hand up, pulling on the light cord. A dim, single bulb glowed above them, shedding little light, but enough to see by.
"Is that better?" she asked, her voice the sound of innocence. Her face however was coy. Putting both hands on Elliot's shoulders, Rylee knew that this shouldn't be happening. They were friends, she wanted to stay friends. Could they be friends after this? "You look really good tonight." she murmured.
---
Down the hall a tall man went into the gym. It was none other then John, Rylee's foster Dad. And he was looking for her.

He laughed as she pulled the cord that had been above him the whole time, illuminating the tiny room. Elliot had to admit he felt a tad ridiculous shaking up in the broom closet. Oh, well, you’re only young once, right? “Now I can see your beautiful face,” the alcohol had turned on the charm, the sweet-talkin’ boy that lived deep down inside was coming out. Elliot knew he should care more about what they were doing, and how it was going to affect everything. But, hell, he was tired of thinking and the only thought he wanted running through his mind was the question of what flavour lip gloss Rylee was wearing.
“Thanks,” he muttered back, kissing her once again, his hand on her back, moving lower as the kiss grew longer.

Rylee felt things heating up and she liked it. Sure it was a Janitor's closet, but who cared? I mean really, it was high school. As she felt Elliot's lips on her own, glad she had worn a lip gloss that night, raspberry, Rylee felt happy. This was nice, to be with a boy and not feel like she had to do what she was doing. That she wanted to do it.
A pound on the door brought Rylee's attention away from Elliot to earth again. The voice that came next made Rylee's hands clench around Elliot's shoulders. Oh crap! "Rylee Mariss! I know you're in there with some boy, now get out of that closet! Out now young lady, you could get pregnant!" it was her foster Dad. However, Rylee knew John was easily fooled and right now, she felt like running him around a bit. Mouthing to Elliot to play along, Rylee made her voice high and preppy "Ohmygod! Benny, some guy is knocking on the door!" the pounding stopped, though Rylee knew John would still be there until he heard the guys voice confirming it was not Rylee.

Elliot stood there enjoying himself, enjoying Rylee. Deep in his mind, he really liked her, not just as a friend. Damn, why does that always happen to the nice ones? His attention snapped back to reality though as someone pounded on the door and an angry voice yelled through. Elliot felt Rylee tense up and a look of fear came into his eyes as the being on the other side of the door spoke. He nodded, acknowledging Rylee’s request to play along and stifled a laugh as her voice went all preppy.
Deciding his role would be the one of a stereotypical jock, his voice went much deeper and lower as he replied to the fake Rylee. “Crap Crystal, it better not be your boyfriend. Hey! Leave us alone man!” Nice Elliot, nice. Way to play it cool. Elliot waited a couple seconds until he giggled softly, hoping he wasn’t giving anything away. He just couldn’t control himself.

Josh felt as if a piano had just fallen on his head. He couldn't let Daphne go. She needed to know the truth. He wouldn't let them break-up. He promised her it would work out. He said they would always stay friends. How things were going tonight, though, it didn't show much hope.
"Daph, no!" he said yelled, "I didn't dance with Amanda. Why would I want, too! She was drunk, she pulled me onto the dance floor. As soon as she did I turned around and started to walk away. Thats when you came and started accusing me! I don't like Amanda. Daphne, I love you."
He didn't think he could say much more. He had just told her he loved her.

Ashley grinned. He knew how to make her smile. "I bet you say that to all the girls you meet" Ashley said, then she took her cup and took a sip, enjoying the burning sensation flow down through her throat. Her smile widened, it felt refreshing, since she hadnt really drank in a while. "Well, there goes me trying to stay sober" Ashley said with a hint of laughter to her voice. SHe knew that since she had had one drink that would lead to many more and she would indeed become drunk tonight.
Ashley placed her hands up around his neck and studied his face. "Wow" she whispered to yourself, "It seems the more I look at you the more handsome you get" Ashley said, her voice slow and sultry.
Ashley shook her head back and forth once, as to move her hair out of her face. Even though thats all she di it for, it did indeed make her look more, dare I say it... sexy.

Daphne wiped tears, and or rain from her face. She couldn't stand here. She felt a little faint and staggered a little backwards. She looked back at him, could she bleieve him. That nothing was going on between the two? Could she? Could she trust him? Her boyfriend? Whoa. Too many questions. She felt a little faint once again. Too much of Reed's spiked drink.
Then he said it.
"What?" was all she could form out of her mouth. "What?" Her words didn't sound harsh or angered. More stunned or confused. Why was it when you had those three small words. Why did it freeze you up. She couldn't understand. Sure, she had said those words to boyfriends in the past, but now that Daphne thought about it, did she really mean it? She never really did know what it felt like, or how you felt it. How you knew that you loved them back. Did she love Josh back? She looked down at the pavement and her arms fell to her side. Feeling the wet and drenchness of her dress. Only now, at a complete moment of no emotion. Her anger cooled down, and she shivered bringing her arms across her chest. She looked back at him. Her bottom lip trembled. "Do you, Josh?"

Rylee couldn't help it, she started to giggle. Elliot just didn't fit the type of a jock. Just like she wasn't anywhere close to being a prep. As Rylee heard John begin to mumble apologies and walk away, she laughed out loud. It was just too funny. "Y-you sounded like a jock." she gasped, holding a hand over her mouth to try and stop laughing.
"He really is gullible." Rylee thought. She knew her foster Dad wasn't stupid, but he had no idea how to handle teenage girls. Neither did Sara, so Rylee pretty much had the run of the house. And they never thought the quiet little girl from New York would lie to them. Or go behind their backs and do things like that.

Juliet gave a little grin at Logan's words, couldn't help but wonder if he had the same intentions she had - someone to spend the night with afterwards. Her eyes were trained mainly on him, sometimes cast across to Kathleen with a polite smile.
At at this point in time, Kim decided to come see how her best friend was going. Her eyes were trained on Juliet as she crossed the gym. "Hey guys," she said casually as she joined the little group of people. Juliet gave a grin.
Kim's eyes wandered across to Logan. "Well, don't you look handsome tonight? But of course, you always do," she told him with a grin. [/size]

Elliot couldn’t control himself once Rylee started to giggle and he burst into laughter. Quickly covering his mouth, his eyes bright, Elliot tried to calm down, but it just wasn’t possible. “Really!?” he asked her, extremely proud of himself in his current state that he could pull off being a jock. “I practice secretly in front of my mirror,” he added teasing her. “You never know, one year I could make the football team. One day these guns will get the recognition they deserve.” He flexed his muscles, or well…tried to as there’s not much there for added effect, but soon gave up, laughing.
ooc; it's short. sorry
