I just want back in your head I'm not unfaithful But I'll stray When I get a little scared...
"Ouch your pulling my hair" Bailey snapped at her step sister Grace who had offered ever so kindly to do her hair, though it was blatantly obvious to Bailey that she was making it as painful as possible for her. Her dress had been fitted properly that morning it was such a rushed situation to get ready for cotillion, partly because Bailey didn't think she would be going and didn't bother with a dress until Caleb had asked her. With one final yank at her hair Bailey let out an almighty yell and slammed her hands down on the vanity in front of her "Ok I think my hair is done now" she let out bitterly rubbing her head where the hair had been pulled Grace smirked at her and Bailey was tempted to slap it right of her face, but she wouldn't not today this was her day not Grace's and she wouldn't let the jealous bitch spoil it for her.
Her step-father had graciously asked to escort her to the Cotillion it actually meant alot to Bailey that he would do that for her. After all she was not his child. The country club was packed today and Bailey beamed at her mother who pulled her into a hug as they entered, she looked teary and Bailey being as insensitive as she was to these things let out a snort of laughter and escaped from her mothers grasp "Ok no need to cry now" she smiled craining her head looking for Caleb so she could speak with him before going backstage with her step father.
After glancing around for a few minutes Bailey spotted him standing on his own glancing at his watch "Oi you!" Bailey called walking over to him grinning "well you scrub up nicely don't you" she adjusted his tie a little before standing back examining him.

I watch you spin around in your highest heels You are the best one, of the best ones _________
He smiled shyly as she brushed off his compliment, shaking his head as he did so. Claire was truly one, if not the most beautiful girl present tonight, and he wouldn’t be lying if he had said that he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Elliot was a one girl type of guy and even if he did look at other, Claire had to know that she was the only one for him. He would never cheat or do anything on purpose to harm their relationship, he was still in the so called honeymoon phase with her, and happy as long as they were together. Just standing there, his hands entwined with hers, as she tried to tell him she wasn’t as beautiful as he thought she was, was making him forget all about the paranoid thoughts he was having.
”You’re too modest,” he replied, the smile still placed sweetly on his lips. ”And a liar,” Elliot continued, not at all meaning anything to do with the Charlie McP hook-up rumours he had heard. ”Because I know for sure you’re more beautiful then anyone else in this building,” he leaned done and kissed her once again, trying to not think about the possibility of her cheating on him. There was no way that could have happened, right? God, his mind was on overdrive as his conscience was divided into two and beginning to wage a war inside his head.
He stood waiting for her reply to his admittance that he loved her. Although surely she knew already, having said, it made it all the more real. Before they were just this couple, who hung out and made out, nothing too out of the ordinary, but now, now Elliot was realizing, out loud, how much this girl really meant to him. He loved her, body and soul, and he hoped to god she loved him back.
"I love you too, Elliot. So much."
Ahh, there it was. She loved him, Elliot Davis. His smile seemed to multiply in size as he squeezed her hand right back. He kissed her again, letting her now how happy it made him to hear that. ”Good,” he said softly, meeting her eyes. He almost didn’t know what to say afterwards, or well, he didn’t know what to say. If they were somewhere not so public, he would have continued kissing her, as right now that’s all Elliot felt like doing.
”So, when exactly does this thing start?”

When you dream There's a chance you'll find A little laughter Or happy ever after Claire reached up to brush his cheek with her fingertips as a shy smile came onto his lips. Really, Elliot was just too cute. She hadn’t been at the time, but now, Claire was glad for what happened in Vegas. After all, it wouldn’t have gotten them to tell the truth about how they felt. Actually, Claire felt the same way that morning as she did now. She kept how she felt about Elliot from him to the point where it was driving her insane. Now, she was keeping the truth about what happened with Charlie from him in a similar manner.
Oh man, she didn’t deserve him.
She couldn’t help but freeze slightly as he called her a liar. Oh god. Did he know? But as he continued his sentence, she relaxed again, keeping her hand lightly on his cheek as he leaned down to kiss her again. Putting her hand down after he pulled away again, she smiled up at him. “Thank you. You're probably the best looking Bond here, too.” Claire said with a small smile. It was crazy that, even as bad as she felt, he could still make her heart stop every time he kissed her. Love was funny that way.
Claire smiled as he looked down at her, continuing to do so even after he kissed her. It seemed like her conscience was trying to confuse her. One voice in her head was mocking her, telling her that she really didn’t deserve him. That he was too good for her. Another was telling the first to shut up. She had made a mistake, big deal. Yet a third was screaming at her to just tell him now and get it all over with. Christ, she really was going insane…
“Um, I’m not really sure. Pretty soon, I think.” She was glad for that, because right now, all she wanted was for the night to be over. This had been the most time she and Elliot had spent together since the car crash, which only made it worse for her. Honestly, Claire had thought about calling Elliot to say that she was sick or something, but then Elliot might have insisted on coming over to make her feel better. Then she would have been caught in another lie.

Let's get down to business I got no time to play around, what is this? There must be a circus in town Let's shut this shit down on these clowns Can I get a witness?
”You look –“ he took a deep breathe and shook his head as if in total shock, ”amazing. Honestly, I knew you had looks, but you really surprised me tonight” he smirked a bit and then ran his fingers a top his perfectly gelled hair. ”Mr. Luke Summitt, you amaze.” Well, who else would he have been talking to? He winked at his handsome reflection in the large mirror of his personal master bathroom before exiting and returning to his room. In Luke's mind, he was going to be the best damn looking escort at Cotillion. No doubt about it. Way better looking than that fag Oscar Lyons who had just happened to have stolen his date.
Yup. Luke Summitt lost a date to Lyons. Luke himself started looking for cameras believing that he was on Punk'd or something when him and Kelsey saw Anne and Oscar kissing, but nope. The big man on campus not only lost a date, but he lost it to a cocky-for-no-reason jerkoff. Anne made him and Kelsey swear not to tell anybody, and Luke was bent on that promise. No, not because he was trying to help Anne hide her budding relationship with Lyons which he completely did not support. Luke was still trying to hide the fact that a popular girl such as Anne saw something in a tool like Oscar that she didn't see in him. He didn't even see Anne as anything more than a friend, but it still seemed pretty unbelievable. Hopefully neither of them would try to approach him without expecting the cold shoulder and some rude comments. Not only did he get ditched by his date, he was now paired with none other than Kelsey Lewington, his ex-girlfriend. It was bad enough sitting next to her at the basketball game with their knees barely brushing, but now they had to dance together and pretend that they actually gave a shit about being introduced into the community.
"The rides here" he heard his father call up from the foyer. He hoped that his parents would be out of town the day of Cotillion and therefore he could skip out, but that unfortunetly was not the case. How ironic that they are only in town about the equivalent of 6 or 7 weeks throughout the whole year, and Cotillion just happens to fall on one of those days. After pictures with the whole family, Luke, Amanda, and their parents loaded the black stretch Hummer-styled limo sent to pick them up. After missing the practice due to an intense alcohol-poisoning ridden hangover, Amanda decided not to participate in Cotillion afterall. So, she had the lucky job of watching. Jessica, who lived at the esteemed Summitt mansion abstained from attending the event having thrown up only 20 minutes before they were supposed to leave.
"Make us proud son" Ugh, it was so trite and unoriginal, but Luke accepted it with an assuring nod as they entered into the club and he departed from the family. Shoving his hands in his pockets, Luke Summitt looked around, possibly for Kelsey, or possibly for a way to escape what he predicted as a night in hell.

the ceremony will start in ten minutes so this means start pretending that this is what is being announced by cotillion officers as you stand anxiously in the hallways waiting to make your debut into society. i will wait for THREE more posts, then start the ceremony.

present for a presentation presented presently there’s no i in team, no me in us, no you in we i'll write down letters inside letters but i can’t let her see pass them forward with a foreword they won’t mean a thing ___________
”I look like a fat bride,” tears were almost welling in her eyes, as Kelsey stood in front of the full length mirror in her room. ”Don’t be ridiculous,” her older sister scoffed as she fixed the younger girls hair. This would be the third and final time Kelsey was being presented at Cotillion and although the whole thing was somewhat exciting and a big deal, she seriously wasn’t feeling it this year. She could hear her mother’s heals tapping from all the way downstairs, and had the feeling she was getting annoyed with how long the whole getting ready process was taking. Sighing, Kelsey gave a look of defeat on her face and headed out of her room, her sister rolling her eyes from behind her. ”Dear, you look beautiful,” her mother’s tired sounding voice filled the large front foyer of the Lewington residence, a weary smile replacing the usually stern look that covered her aging face. ”Thanks,” Kelsey replied, trying to sound a lot more enthused then she really was. Hell, you wouldn’t be too thrilled with the situation she was in either.
Not only had her date decided to go with another girl, that other girl was her best friend who had before been going with Kelsey’s ex-boyfriend, Luke. Now, for some reason Kelsey was going with Luke and Anne and Oscar were attending together. No matter how upset she was for herself with how it all worked out, Anne and Oscar did seem cute together. Now all Kelsey had to do was survive the night with Luke as her date. Hopefully they wouldn’t really have to spend much time together. She was still mad about the whole hallways showdown and after the basketball game, well, spending time with him didn’t seem to be too inviting.
Exiting the home and into the black stretch limo that had been waiting outside for the last half hour, Kelsey plastered a large, fake smile on her face and warned herself that she needed to keep it on for the next couple hours. That’s all it would be, a couple hours. Goddamn, this was probably going to be the longest night of her life.
After about twenty minutes of light conversation on the ride there, Kelsey and her family exited the limo and entered the country club. Her father immediately began his rounds with the other men, shaking hands, asking business related questions, while her mother plastered a smile resembling Kelsey’s and kept by her side for the time being. Kels’s spotted the usual crowd and even caught a glimpse of Luke in the distance. Right now she would pretend she hadn’t seen him, seeing as he hadn’t seemed to notice her, and simply hope for the best. Let the good times roll.

o n e l l i f e t i m e l m e a n s l t h e r e l a r e l n o l s e c o n d l c h a n c e sCaleb Marsters. Caleb's smile beamed when he saw Bailey. She looked amazing. Nothing else was on his mind but her. No daphne, Harris, or anyone. Just tonight. But to him, it wasn't just any other dance, it was the collition ball. Even if he was a guy and he wasn't supposed to think about any of that, just how much action he was going to get. It was like that for him. He was here to have a good time, to have fun, and to show Bailey what a good date really was.
"well you scrub up nicely don't you"
He smiled as she adjusted his tie. 'your amazing; he thought to himself. But he just stood there a minute, smiling, taking in her beauty. He had always know she was beautiful, but seeing her dress up was perfect. His smiled beamed at her. and for a while there, he was lost for words.
Finally, taking a deep breath he smiled and said: "Wow. Bailey you look beautiful." He said to her quietly while running his finger gently though her hair. "Don't worry I won't mess it up." He said laughing.

♥ b r i a n n a_______________ Honey, have we really been so apart?" Her father asked, still hugging her. "Yes Dad." She said. "More than you know." Brianna let go of her dad when she said that, and when she was about to look up at him, saw a reflection. "Hold on." Brianna said. They had time, and not many cotillion people were here...she hoped. Brianna ran to the window, hoping to see where the reflection was coming from. She couldn't find where the reflection was coming from, but Brianna worried. It looked like someone...Someone she trusted. "Wait here." She said to her father. He replied with a, "But we have to stay-". But Brianna was already out of sight.
Thinking, Brianna muttered, "Okay, so the little reflection thing showed the two standing on something high...Can't be the roof....Balcony?" Brianna tried to remem.ber where the balcony was. She was sure that she had seen it many times while walking by. Walking by for Cotillion stuff and maybe saw it when she had just came to the country club to visit. A thought came to her, and Brianna ran outside. More like quick-walking seeing as she didn't want to ruin her dress to much. Finally, Brianna was outside. She looked up and around. It seemed like it was going to rain, but that certainly didn't matter at all right now. Her eyes found the balcony....and two people. "No....It couldn't be." Brianna said. The guy with the woman. His hair was like Jason. His body was like Jason. He was Jason. Tears came out of her eyes but she wiped them away as soon as possible. "Fine. He cane be that way. See if I care." But she actually did care. Maybe she should have listened to her friends and family because they were right. Brianna thought she was the one that could only see the good in him. Well, there was no good.
Soon, Brianna was back inside the country club, and not long after, with her father. "Where were you?" Her father asked. "Just thought I saw a long lost friend," Brianna lied. It wasn't like her father would think she was lying. It wasn't even a good lie and he still believed her. "Anyways," Her father said, breaking the ice. "At least you came back before it started." He smiled and Brianna couldn't help but smile back. Though, it wasn't a true smile. She had to fake it. All the hurt, the pain, was still inside her. Then she saw something else. "Dad! Look! It's Ashton!" Brianna said. What she said in her mind was something more like, How the hell did he fucking get here? But her father was here and he would kill her for such language. Not like Brianna cared if she got in trouble. She just didn't want to ruin the moment. "How did he get in here for Cotillion?" Then Brianna answered her own question by thinking, Probably sneaked in...
"It's going to start soon." Brianna's father said, but she barely heard it. She was still thinking about what she said. It could have been someone else that looked a lot like him. Her eyesight could have just been bad, but then again, the last time she checked, it was fine. Brianna didn't let any tears fall. This hurt, but she was going to stay strong. Don't let anyone think that they can hurt your feelings with anything. It happened before, and Brianna wasn't going to let that happen again. She could cry in her room at home, or maybe her dorm when her roommate wasn't there. Just not here. And certainly not now.
Brianna quickly went over to her brother and gave him a hug. Not like she meant it. "Dad's here. Play along." She whispered in his ears when he had a look that said 'why the hell are you hugging me'. "How did you get here?" She asked him. "I have my sources." He whispered back. Brianna let go and said something like, 'talk to you later', and went back to her father. You must love your brother. Her father said happily. "Yeah...Tons." Brianna replied. Her father just missed the sarcasm.

While my heart is a shield and I won't let it down While I am so afraid to fail so I won't even try... "Wow. Bailey you look beautiful."
What a sweetheart, Bailey blushed bring her hands up to her face and letting out a small laugh "Aw thanks, the hair was a bitch though" she nodded knowingly pointing at her half up teased do' screwing up her face before looking back at her mother and step father who where looking eagerly over at her. Rolling her eyes she turned back to Caleb gesturing over at her parents "Ok so over there is my mom and step dad - just so you know my mom's name is Diana and my step dad's is creepily enough Caleb" Bailey gave a small shrug and let out a sigh.
"Don't worry I won't mess it up."
"Hey if we do mess up, it will be funny and at least we will stand out" she joked. Truth be told Bailey really didn't care about cotillion it was just the fact she was here with Caleb the two had been friends for a while now and he was such a sweet guy to everyone. If anyone had someone bad to say about Caleb she would sure like to here it then promptly slap some sense into the person who said it. Hearing the announcement over the P.A Bailey gave Caleb a nervous smile "I better go then ok?" she gave him a quick hug before turning and walking over to where her Mother and step dad stood.
Her Mother placed an arm around her giving her a quick hug and wishing her luck. Bailey glanced back at Caleb and gave him another smile and a wave before grabbing hold of her step fathers hand and making their way behind the stage. Feeling nervous Bailey let go of his hand and looked around twiddling her thumbs together and biting her lip, why the hell was she nervous about cotillion, it was after all just that.

"places everyone, places!"The main ballroom starts to quiet down as mothers and siblings, maybe along with friends, find their seats. There's a slight dim of light, which helps compared to the very visible amount of rain that is bound to pour down in an hour or so. People talk quietly, and excitedly amongst themselves, which sipping chardonnay from glass flutes. Suddenly, the woman who was the dance rehearsal host, walks graciously out onto the main panel of the stage toward a podium, wearing a flamboyant dress with purples and whites glistening with every step. Polite applause roars out, as she smiles a smeared red lipstick smile and looks from one guest to the other. The woman thought she was better than them. From there, she starts a speech, a long and terrible one at that. The history of cotillion, why they do it, and how it leaves memories forever. She then begins.
"Claire Barnett, daughter of Heather and Nicholas Bartnett. Escorted by Elliot Davis, son of Chrisslyn Davis and James Randolf."
"Emilia Demtra, daughter of Greyason and Elizabeth Demtra. Escorted by Eric Faden, son of Susan and Gerald Hamins."
"Anne Lévesque, daughter of Marius & Romaine Lévesque. Escorted by Oscar Lyon, son of Jean-Paul and Jessica Lyon."
"Kelsey Lewington, daughter of Oliver and Karen Lewington. Escorted by Luke Summitt, son of Suzanne and Jim Summitt."
"Brianna Malinda, daughter of Daniel and Susan Malinda. Escorted by Jason Lévesque, son of Marius and Romaine Lévesque."
"Bailey Mitchell, daughter of Diana and Caleb Mitchell. Escorted by Caleb Marsters, son of Kelly and Jason Marsters."
"---, daughter of so and so. Escorted by Charlie McPherson, son of Carl and Jordy McPherson."
"Charlie Wood, daughter of Daniel and Cindy Wood. Escorted by Tim so and so, son of ---"
{ Alright so here's the down low on what's going on. I placed everyone in alphabetical order, and I know there was a whole different list on the cotillion thread, but I decided to base it on this one. If you still want to participate, just let me know. I'll edit you and your date in. So this is what your characters should be doing. When names are called, girls will come out one side while hooking arms with their fathers. The escorts will come out of the other side of the stage and bow toward the girl. She will curtsy, father will kiss on the forehead and leave the stage. The escort now hooks arms with the debutante and leads her to the dance floor. They stand in starting position, (guys hand on her waist, holding each other's hands so that their arms are in a somewhat 90 degree angle. the girl's other hand goes on his shoulder.) }
Let the festivities begin!
edit* you do NOT have to post in alphabetical order. it is just so your characters know whom their in front of or behind.

she's so high... High above me, she's so lovely She's so high... Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite She's so high... High above me
“Faden, if I got any kind of jewel from any other guy, it wouldn’t mean half as much as this does coming from you.”
Now that caused a grin and a blush that Faden couldn't hide, could this night get anybetter? It was perfect, so far and he could only imagine things getting better. She was one of the rare girls that he knew wouldn't care about anything he had done in his past, anything that had happened to him. She wasn't the type to find out about his father and what he was to Faden and what he was to the world and let it come between them. Faden wasn't his father in the slightest. Faden thought it was a goodthing he wasn't raised by his father. Sure it would have been nice to have a real dad but Faden learned about how to treat people from fairytales and adventure books. If he had learned from his father who knew what kind of creep Faden might be. No, he was better off learning from Arthur and Galahad. His father was a rapist and Faden couldn't even imagine forcing yourself upon a girl...or a boy or anyone. And then Faden's thought flickered for a moment back to Laura. Ben knew about the beatings but he didn't know about, about the part of her relationship with her father that really screwed her up. And It worried Faden. He liked Ben, he liked Emilia more, obviously and in a different way but what if Ben got confused and angry at the walls laura had up? Faden would do his best not take sides but face it, if there was a fight Faden would be beside Laura and Emilia would be beside Ben.
No, that wouldn't happen. He wouldn't let it. Faden and Emilia had nothing to do with Ben and Laura. Nothing. “I really doubt that you’ll ever see me take this off.” He smiled again, a grin spread across his face, "Well good. But just to let you know, now I'm expecting to see it on you at the ten year reunion." He grinned again, it was hard to stop himself from smiling when around her as they linked arms and made their way inside. He nodded as she excused herself to go to with her father. He smiled and waited until she disappeared around the corner before he made his way to the Right corridor to where the other group of guys were all waiting, lining up. He saw a number he recognized, Oscar Lyon who Faden liked, he was a cool guy, Charlie McPherson, Elliott Davis, and of course Luke Summitt. Faden would have put his hands in his pockets and joined them in line, but the suit didn't have pockets, suits back in the fifties never did, aside from that and the type of tie they were pretty much the same. And Faden had gotten a modern tie so, it hadn't been much of a thing.
He stepped in line behind Elliot, the guys weren't in alphebetical order but the girls were and Elliott was with Claire so Emilia was after Claire. He stood in line nervously as he heard the announcer calling out names. And then as he stood off stage right, looking across as Emilia and her father walked out. He couldn't stop smiling, she really was beautiful. He walked out onto the stage not looking at anyone besides her and he bowed to her and her father before he kissed her and left the stage. Faden linked arms with her and they made their way out onto the dance floor. And once they were in position, before the music started, as the other names were being called out, he just looked down at her for a moment, giving her a small smile, "You're beautiful." He said softly, meaning it whole heartedly and to him beautiful was a personality trait. For him beauty was those who were kind and extraordinary. And that's what Emilia was to him. Extraordinary.

jason, babydark blue, dark blue have you ever been alone in a crowded room, well i'm here with you "Ten minutes! Positions everyone!" Voices were heard the in the hallways as Jason groped the older woman. Fuck. He didn't want to leave the brown haired mistress for some traditional ceremony, but of course, if he fucked this up, he'd be sent somewhere in Siberia. He knew his parents were getting fed up with him losing his 'class' and getting all California on them. Well, that was easy to do. California was contagious. He sighed as he looked at her with one eyebrow raise, unaware of Brianna, whom had seen the scene. The woman looked so sad and desperate, just like Jason in some kind of way. He had just got out of fucking jail, which had already screwed his family over for a good college. Screw it anyways.
"I gotta go, babe." "You're a student?! Oh God.. my husband.. my kids.." Oh the cliche mother that he seduces. He didn't do anything! He just felt the inside of her leg and chest. No wonder she let her touch her, obviously her husband wasn't if it was such a big surprise. He rolled his eyes as he tugged her brown hair behind her hair and whispered, "Don't let the storm ruin that fake perm." He left it at that and made his way inside, in line after Luke Summitt and in front of Caleb Marsters. Superb. He grunted a little, wondering what Brianna looked like that night. The last time he saw her, she was in the hospital healing from the car crash, so this was probably going to be a major improvement. He stood bored, as the speech was made, music played and names called. Thank God this was for the last time.
"Brianna Malinda, daughter of Daniel and Susan Malinda. Escorted by Jason Lévesque, son of Marius and Romaine Lévesque."
Jason finally made his way to the side of the stage, winking to the applause of the crowd, but noticed the light was shining around the two people on the other side of the stage. Brianna and her father. She looked stunning, as he smirked. His father would be proud, because obviously he bagged the hottest one there. He walked towards them, and took his bow. A bow that he was always born to do, with a good arched back that gracefully brought it back up. His damn long legs felt tight. He then waited for her curtsy.

The only truth that I have found There's only one thing I can't live without You Emilia couldn’t help but smile as he blushed. A lot of guys…Most all of the guys in Valkyrie, actually…wouldn’t be caught dead blushing. Let alone in front of a girl. That was the thing she liked about him though. He wasn’t afraid to show her what he was thinking or how he was feeling. It was something that most guys didn’t feel needed to be done. What they didn’t know was that a lot of girls wanted that in a guy. Most girls wanted a guy to be open enough with them to tell them what said guy was thinking. But a lot of times, a guy’s ego or pride would get in the way of doing that. It wasn’t that way with Faden though, and Emilia didn’t know why no one else saw that in him.
The funny thing about Ben and Laura’s non-relationship was that Laura didn’t seem to want to know what Ben was thinking. Ben had been talking to Emilia for months about what to say to the other girl but Emilia hadn’t been able to tell him much. She knew that Ben was starting to get a little frustrated that nothing had happened since the kiss. They hadn’t even talked about it yet, because Ben was nervous that she might freak out on him, and never want anything to do with him again.
Laughing softly as he commented on her remark, she smiled shyly. “It’s a promise.” She said with a small laugh as they made their way inside. As they reached her dad and left Faden, Emilia looked back with a smile and a small wave as he turned to leave. Her nerves were bouncing as they stood behind Claire Bartnett, a girl who Emilia knew, but hadn’t talked to. She looked nervous as well. Momentarily distracted as her heart gave another, more painful, stab, Emilia’s arm tightened on her father’s, making him look over at her.
‘Emilia, are you okay?’ He asked, looking worriedly down at his daughter moments before the ceremony began. “Yeah, Dad. I’m fine.” She assured him with a small smile, loosening her grip on his arm. “Just…nervous.” He nodded in understanding. Taking in a deep breath as her name was formally called, Emilia and her father stepped out onto the stage, keeping her eyes only on Faden with a nervous smile until her father turned her to kiss her forehead. ‘I love you, Emilia.’ He said quietly. “Love you too.” She whispered before turning to Faden and curtsying as Faden bowed. Taking his arm, she followed him onto the dance floor.
Putting her hand on his shoulder in the appropriate position, a blush lit red on her cheeks as he called her beautiful. Remaining quiet for a moment, she bit down on her lip to stifle the huge grin that threatened on her lips. “You’re not so bad yourself.” She said softly, letting the grin slip past her lips. A little sarcasm was the only thing that came to her mind at the moment. It wasn’t that she was feeling sarcastic…Just nervous. That and beautiful. That was the way he made her feel. Everything he made her feel was amazing. Everything he ha done for her was amazing. Everything about him was amazing. More than that, in fact, but she couldn’t seem to find a word for what he was.

miss. anneyou know me oh you think you do but you just dont see that ive been waiting all my life to be something i cant define Ten minutes, as Anne stood against the wall while her father had stepped aside for a moment, talking on his BlackBerry. She sighed in an impatient blow, closing her eyes for a moment. In ten single minutes, she'd present herself to society with Oscar. In some kind of way, it made her feel the happiest and most secure. In other ways, it made her terrified. No one was expecting it, and she'd just have to prove them wrong. Somehow, she planned that Oscar Lyon would somehow turn into a fashion statement, and that's when her wheels REALLY turned. It's when she thought about Haley Summers running back to him, tackling him and then him dumping her. Pfft, dumped by Lyon? Superb for her reputation.
Maybe Anne did think too much into the future. Sometimes, she couldn't help it. There was so much riding on a Junior's back these days, especially with finals coming up. Getting into Brown was her life ambition, something that she fearfully needed to do, ever since she could point out the color. Then there was pressure to stay involved and actually seem like she enjoyed Valkyrie Academy. Which, in between the torching hot tennis practices and early morning year book meetings, she actually could enjoy school. But then there was just simply the social pressure a sixteen girl went through, and god damn, it was no wonder they were all stressed. Finally, it was time to go, as her father strolled over, his frown turning to a fake smile. She had to expect that.
"Your hair good?" "Yes." "Your dress ironed?" "Yes." "Smiling?" "Oh, really how could I not?" Anne groaned as she plastered on a smile as fake as his as they stood behind Emilia Demtra, whom she just simply never talked to much. But, Anne could never feel so jealous, as her father actually looked happy to see her daughter grow up, while Anne's was here for publicity. She gave a silent glare to Emilia's back as she shut her eyes and tightened her jaw. It was hard to see an actual loving relationship, because Anne and her father simply didn't get along. Who was she kidding? Her father didn't get along with anyone. Finally, their names were called. Anne's arm hooked into her father's, as she breathed in deep and walked to the side of the stage, where she saw Oscar. And suddenly, the worries about her father didn't matter.
Amazing what he could do to her.

♥ b r i a n n a_______________ "Places everyone, places!"
Her father turned his head to Brianna and whispered, "You ready," Brianna nodded, and a few seconds later, you added a, "Yes." Brianna wanted for her name to be called, and while she waited, she took a deep breath. How was she going to get through this with what she saw Jason did. Brianna decided to make him feel guilty for what he did. She wasn't really going to use someone. Just do something that looks like shes doing something else. But who? Who would do that for her. One person popped into her mind. Ashton. He wouldn't care at all, being the guy that he was. Always thinking that he could get any girl he wanted, and sometimes, Ashton would use some girls too. He wouldn't care if his sister Brianna did something like this. He didn't care about anything she did.
"Brianna Malinda, daughter of Daniel and Susan Malinda. Escorted by Jason Lévesque, son of Marius and Romaine Lévesque."
With a deep breath, Brianna hooked arms with her father. This was the time. She would have to communicate with Jason again. Even worse, dance and whatnot. But there was going to be a moment. There absolutely was going to be a moment where she could go wonder around by herself. And that was when Brianna was going to go to her brother. She'll talk to him, and hopefully Jason would look. I'll decide what I'll do after that...later... Brianna and her father walked out and soon she was in front of Jason. If she didn't see what he had done earlier, Brianna would have been so happy. But she did see, and Brianna put on a smile. It might have been fake, but it was convincing. Brianna curtsy, and her father kissed her forehead. Soon, he was off the stage.
Hooking arms with Jason, she waited from him to escort her off the stage. It took a lot of effort to act all happy, but she loved acting. It just stunk when it was real life instead of a simple movie. Brianna felt like she just wanted to run away. She hated her life, and it hurt so much to know what Jason had done to her. It felt like her stomach kept on flipping over and over. It felt like her heart was tearing, connecting again for some reason, but tearing again. It was the same feeling of pain and sadness. Tears were pouring out inside and it took her a lot of control to act the way she currently was. On the outside, Brianna looked nothing like how she felt on the inside. No tears were shown at all. She wasn't running. She was with Jason, and usually this would be so nice, but the feeling of happiness didn't seem possible for her.
In her dress, smiling like a young lady, nobody would have suspected how she felt on the inside. There was Jason right beside her. He looked like nothing had happened before and this Cotillion moment was just how it should be. Brianna forced herself to stay smiling. She forced herself to not show any sign of sadness. No sign of anything at all. It was all going to be over soon. It was all going to be over...
And Jason would get what he deserves.....
